Westie dog Pup
My Name is Jasper, I am a 7-month-old Westie Pup with a heart defect and I am looking for my forever home. I am a sweet and gentle soul and I love people and other dogs. I currently live with my big brother and my foster mummy but I feel it is now time to find myself a home of my own. I would be happy with a home where I am the only dog or the other dog/’s are nice and calm as my big brother is getting too boisterous for me. I get out of breath easily on walks and I struggle to hold weight but I still love playing. I would be happy to have a nice garden to run and play in with short walks. I am healthy in all other ways but the vets do not know how long my life expectancy is and it unfortunately is impossible to predict. My Foster Mummy has had me chemically castrated because she did not feel it would be right to put me through an unnecessary surgery and for this I am thankful, all I would love now is a home where I can kick back, relax on the sofa, enjoy running in the garden and just enjoy whatever life I shall be allocated. When puppies are in the womb there is a vein that bypasses blood from the heart straight to the body avoiding the lungs, but once the puppy is born this vein should close and unfortunately mine hasn’t.
