Hard-paper cover in lithography by Jaap Gidding (only for this Dutch edition).This sixth issue of the fourth series of Wendingen is devoted entirely to the country house in Oostvoorne, built by Vorkink & Wormser for the Rotterdam insurance family Hudig. It contains 15 photos of the mansion, but also of a gardener's house and of a “duinkoepel” [dune dome] on the estate. The constructions and materials that were used are unusual for Vorkink and Wormser, who until then had mainly designed worker’s homes. This is the Dutch edition. As of this fourth series Wendingen also appeared in English and German. For the English and German versions of this issue, however, the design of the cover of issue 3-8/9 was used.
