Heart breaking sale of my beloved mare. Tilly is a 13.3hh rising 10year old mare. She is believed to be a Welsh x new forest however not 100% certain. Tilly has a fantastic looks, moves & temperment to go with it. Tilly is fanstastic on the ground, she is handled by kids daily. She is good to do in all ways, groom, bath, clip ect. Tilly is good to hack, she’s brilliant in all types of traffic. Recently there has been house building next door to her field and she’s never been bothered about all the machinery or noise. To hack alone she does need a confident rider as she sometimes gets cheeky and wants to go home. She is safe but sometimes she might try it on and nap but if you’re confident enough to kick her through it she is fine. I hack her alone and she is fine with me. She is great to hack in company. She is snaffle mouthed at all times. In the school she is very good and willing. She jumps for fun. Tilly has done social rides, jumping clinics ect. Tilly would be a perfect workers pony. Sadly for sale due to not having the time due to work and 2 young kids. It’s selfish of me to keep her and do nothing with her when she could be out having fun with someone else. No vices. Busby is unbroken - she came to me in September as a companion for my gelding. Previous owner sent her away for backing but she showed discomfort under saddle so they decided to rehome her as a companion without investigating the problem. I had a Chiropractor out who found she had a stiff pelvis and thought it may have stiffened after she has a foal aged 4. She had treatment and looks much more free through her pelvis now so I see no reason why she shouldn't be backed to ride or drive by somebody using patience and kindness. 16hh Welsh x Arab 6 year old mare

I’m reluctantly advertising my beautiful mare. She’s an approximately 16hh 6 year old Welsh cob x Arab chestnut mare with 4 white socks. Luna is the sweetest mare and is very easy to handle in and out of the stable. She takes her reassurance from her handler. She is nervous when taking rugs off so I have found by folding them forwards and reassuring her whilst you do this she’s fine. She’s getting better every time you do it. I have not clipped her yet, she is again fairly nervous but I have run the clippers over her whilst they were running and again she just needs reassurance. Luna will happily load into a trailer but she does get worried and can rush off although she does nothing nasty. When she came to me she travelled in a 3.5ton lorry and was fine. With time I’m sure she’d happily travel in a trailer. To ride she is a blank canvas. She’s green with her schooling and jumping. She will go in a lovely outline but needs someone that understands a sensitive and young horse. She is green with jumping but certainly has some scope and really enjoys it. I have taught her how to lunge and she will now happily lunge. She hacks out in company, she will have a look at things occasionally but with encouragement will happily walk on. She has started hacking on her own. I have walked her out alone in-hand and she has been fantastic. I am selling her as I feel she needs more than what I can give her. She will only be sold to the perfect home and an experienced rider. With time and understanding she will be an amazing all rounder.
