Darcy is a sweet natured mare, a good doer and easy to handle in both field and stable. She is easy to catch and gets on with other horses. She is a responsive ride with a snaffle mouth, never pulls but is not a slug and enjoys hacking out alone or in company. Good in traffic and not 'spooky'. Darcy wants to please but can buck at canter. She would be ideal either for someone who wants to hack on roads and lanes as she has perfect manners at walk and trot, or as a project horse for someone with more ambition. Skye is a beautiful 7yo mare that is looking for a new home due to too many ponies and not enough time to bring out the best in her. I have come to the very difficult decision to sell my super mare. I bought her with the intention of competing BD, which I think she will be very successful at - she is built uphill with lovely paces but is just too big for me. I haven't jumped her as is not my thing but she has Alme, Acrobat II bloodlines so certainly bred for it and know she has with previous owner. She is great in traffic, I have to cross a busy A road and regularly ride/lead across it and she is foot perfect. We are looking for someone who would like to ride and look after Darcy who is a 16.1hh 14 year Shire x warmblood twice a week and to help cover holidays where possible.
