6 year old Welsh section d gelding. Perfect for someone wanting a summer project, bought myself with the same intentions but unfortunately haven't got the time. A stunning pony by Heaton Romeo who has been shown in hand and as a lead rein. He has taught my 3 children to ride on lead rein and then off lead rein out hacking, but he is not a first ridden pony in the school or at events as can get strong, excited and pop in a buck. He would suit a confident older child or small adult as the rider needs to get him going forward and work him properly. He has been schooled for showing and can canter on command but with us he has been primarily used to hack. An absolute darling to handle at home, good to loads, good with vet and farrier, has no health issues. 11hh welsh section A pony club lead rein pony

Our beloved pony Barney is sadly up for sale after 7 great years. All my children have ridden him from being toddlers and he has been their first pony so this is such a sad sale. He enjoys being worked and will whinny when he sees you bringing tack so it's unfair on him to be left without a job. I am advertising him as a lead rein pony as this is what he prefers in a schooling situation as he can be nappy without his leader in the arena and he much prefers having mum or dad to walk beside or even run in front. He will hack out perfectly off the lead and goes off your voice. He has been ridden around hopton x country off the lead and on the farnley ride and Escrick park. He will jump small jumps and has got a good jump but it's not something he enjoys. He is just ridden now and then at the moment but he is exactly the same ride how ever long he is left. Barney has been involved with all pony club activities including mounted games, mini camp, mini cross country, lessons and jumping with my daughter from being age 5. He has competed on the mini mounted games for 2 seasons on the lead and did wetherby weekend this year off the lead in the junior team and did great. Totally unfazed with a busy environment and does not get silly or excitable, he's very happy to stand on the line and just wait his turn and knows the equipment. When at shows he just stands patiently and nods off. He will ride and lead and is responsive to voice commands which is great for teaching little ones to canter on the lead. A shout of whoa quickly brings him back to walk! We've stayed away at shows and he is happy to be corralled in an pen and will not stress if left on his own, he just enjoys being out and having a job to do. He can be a bit grumpy to handle and will pull the odd face. He will live out with a shelter or come in at night and he is happy with both. He is very clean in the stable and will poo in a bucket at the back! He can be left for weeks and then ridden and he is exactly the same, just steady away. 11.2 Welsh Sec A Bay Gelding Pony 5 years old, Registered

Welsh section A show pony for sale through no fault of his own. Sadly his rider has outgrown him and is moving to a bigger pony. Fantastic pony for lead rein with for a less confident rider or 2nd pony for confident rider who can ride. He is a sweet, cheeky, lovable character who loves people and being with them. He lives in or out and is fine with mares or geldings. He has good stable manners and you can move around him in and out of the stable and loves attention although he can sometimes like to have a cheeky nibble. He has never kicked or shown any nasty behaviour and he is eager and willing to learn. He is still green/young in his education which is why he is good for lead rein or a 2nd pony. He is just starting work again this year. He attended numerous shows last year and won every class he entered, he behaved impeccably at the shows and totally took care of his rider, he stood perfectly and made the days very enjoyable. He is vaccinated for flu and tetanus up to date and not due booster until . He stands to have feet done without any issues and is great with the vet.
