6 year old Welsh section d gelding. Perfect for someone wanting a summer project, bought myself with the same intentions but unfortunately haven't got the time. He is broken but I've took him back to basics as previously been own by a young jockey and has been napping so been out of ridden work, been foot perfect with everything I've asked him to do so far, he's nice natured and showing good attitude. Not a novice ride (only as he shys sometimes) Has great conformation and 3 nice paces. Snaffle mouth. Hacks out alone or in company. Up to date with vaccinations, worming and teeth. Good with traffic (buses, lorries, bikes, heavy traffic, school time traffic) Also good going over and under motorway bridges. With a very heavy heart I am writing this. I have decided to come to the heart breaking decision to sell my lovely 6 Year old welsh section D gelding, Thunder. Thunder is good to load, catch and with the farrier. Last year he was lightly broken taking it all in his stride, I turned him away for the winter but due to work commitments and moving house I no longer have the time he needs to bring him back into work. He has such a lovely character and always willing to please. He is perfect to lunge and I have started to sit on him in the stable and he is fine so wouldn't take much to get him going again. He comes with bridle and rugs. I think in the right hands he would make a lovely workers pony or hunting pony as he's got a good jump on him. We have hunted, shown, show jumped, dressage, hacked and taken part in fun rides. He is a true competition pony in the making, he has the presence and desire to win, but he is also a complete saint out hacking on his own or in company. He will live in or out and is extremely low maintenance. Q is a fantastic ride out hunting, he will stand in-between lines walk on the buckle in-between lines, great with the hounds and will also walk and be held back to do gates ect. He will also lead over any type of jumps in the field. He also loves the sea and will paddle along all day. He was show lightly as a 2 year old and was in the top line at Royal Welsh, also young stock champion as a 3 year old at a local show. Beautiful Section D for sale 15 hands bay with white blaze. Lovely nature and personality. Good to shoe, hacks out alone and in company. Loves people and other horses. I have had this beautiful boy since he was separated from his mother at 6 months of age and he has been treated with utmost respect and care hence his lovely nature. He is from good stock and I can show pictures of his mother and sire and photos of him as a baby. He won first in his class in the show ring with his mother at 3 months old and was successful in showing in hand before he was broken. Professionally broken at 3 years and cut at months so very easy to handle. He has galloped on the beach and loved it with no problems. He has hacked many times but has not had a great deal of schooling so needs to be brought on in that respect. Excellent in traffic and listens to your voice for guidance.
