Dakota - hh 8 yr old bright bay gelding For sale as a light hack/school - companion due to a previous injury when younger. Due to this injury he needs his feet doing every 5-6 weeks like clockwork. He is barefoot and cannot be shod at all. Has strong feet so would never need shoes. He’s good for farrier, dentist and does load with a little persuasion once on, travels brilliant. hh 8yr old Piebald Cob Type Gelding ‘Rio’ A fun ride Rio has done a little bit of everything including training clinics, jumping, beach rides, hacking and school work. Will happily take and respond to an experienced rider or is safe enough for children to have a play on in the school. My boy is 16.3 (ish), thoroughbred gelding. Unfortunately, through no fault of his own, I have been "over-horsed" and he needs someone more confident than myself to take him on. He is an ex - racehorse, retired sound in , and has been retrained. He is quite a strong horse and has a lot of get up go! He is not a novice ride as he does get very excited due to not being worked much lately. I think he would benefit greatly from a new home where he can be used to his potential. I have owned him for a few months after buying him through a friend of a friend. He has very good manners on the ground and is great for the farrier and dentist. He will wait and is not bargey at all. Very patient boy. He loads fine in a lorry bit isn't a fan of trailers. I've done some work with loading on to trailers and know it won't take much effort to get past this! This will be a very sad sale for me but I am not giving him the home he deserves. Stunning hh ISH gelding

I'm considering making the heart breaking decision to sell my lovely boy. I've had Dallas for 18 months and I love him dearly, but unfortunately I don't have the time or facilities to keep his education going. He is lovely to school and is keen to please, he is green but a fast learner with a lovely work ethic. He has all the basics and is quite flashy. To hack in company he is no problem and is great with traffic. To hack alone he is quite nervous and babyish, I think he plays on my nerves a little and takes the mick abit. Dallas needs someone who won't let him walk over them like he does a little with me. He's been in pro yards and behaved like a pussycat but he takes advantage of my nerves in some situations. He has real potential but I'm not sure it's with me that he'll unleash that potential and it's such a shame to see him wasted as a field ornament. He isn't in full ridden work, but this would take no time at all. I have hacked him alone recently after not being ridden for so long and he was fine but I almost convince myself he will misbehave so I just don't enjoy riding him anymore. He has never actually done anything for me to feel this way but he can be sharp and makes me uneasy and this is only when hacking alone. I'm in no massive hurry to sell and would much rather ensure he is in the forever home that I unfortunately couldn't give him. He is open to vetting as I had a 5 stage when I got him.
