This Ercol dresser is made from elm which is a beautiful hardwood similar to Oak. It is now rare because of the demise of the elm tree population in the last 50 years. The light coloured elm of the base unit top has been sanded back and coated with three coats of Osmo Polyx Hardwax Oil, satin, which enhances the grain and provides a beautiful durable finish. For sale is this beautiful genuine vintage Ercol dresser. It's a lovely solid characterful piece with bags of character and charm. It's been hand painted in Autentico's neutral with light distress. Super clean inside and out and the top comes off for transport. Dimensions are Height 170 Width 147 Depth 51 all cms All of my items are genuine vintage or antique. Items of this age come with obvious age related knocks, bumps and scratches etc. In my opinion this only adds to the their originality and style.
