14.2 Welsh d mare 4 years old

Very sad sale of my much loved stunning show pony Mia she is a 4 year old Welsh d 14,2. Mia was backed at 3 and turned away for a few months she hadn't been rushed she has been riding away for nearly a year now and has come on lovely she has a lovely flashy paces, no vices at all she puts her self forward to do anything you ask of her she defiantly has the brain of an older pony, she is ridden regularly by myself and a 13 year old novice rider,she has won local shows in hand and has been hacked alone weekly in all traffic and doesn't bat an eyelid she is a great all rounder and has a huge scopey jump on her. We jump her once a week or so over nateral jumps. She is not at all fuzzy in open spaces and is not strong she is a snaffle mouth with no gadgets needed, she does need a bit of leg but not stubborn,obviously she is still green as she's young she turned 4 in July. We have done lead rein with my 2 year old and six year old and is good as gold my 6 year old also leads her around from the ground never kicked or bitten,never reared or bolted,she is perfect but prefers a confident teenerage/ adult rider that is not a total novice but she does look after her novice riders and will respect them more than children. She is ready to go into any discipline and be moulded to what you want from her she is ridden without a whip and we don't use one she has never needed it.Only loving homes need contact me as I don't want her passed around. She is barefoot and is fine she lives out 24/7 in a mixed herd rugged in winter she is a cheap and good easy doer. She Will come to you from the feild (but I always take a carrot). She is not mareish but can pull faces but it doesn't go any further than that. She comes with her rugs and bridle and can be tried out before you buy her. We've had Roo for 18 months, she is 9 in April. She was successfully shown in hand as a youngster to county level. She was professionally backed and has been to shows with a competent rider. She is responsive under saddle and good to hack out. We've only hacked her out and used her as a companion as she is too sharp for my complete novice daughter. I have taken my young niece out on the lead with her to. She needs a competent experienced handler as she can be 'grumpy' pulling faces, stomping her feet, she will occasionally nip at you. Chanel has been a part of our family for over 4 years and has taught my 3 daughters to ride, giving them the confidence they need. I cannot fault this pony one bit, always looked after by children. She has lovely ground manners, easy to lead etc... Chanel has 3 lovely paces. She loves to jump and can easily jump 1 metre. She loves a gallop across the field but is easy to stop. Welsh D Mare!!!! in Stanley

14.2 Welsh Section D Mare. 6 years old, born FEB . Liver chestnut in colour with a white blaze and three whites. Grandsire is Menai Firework. Dam, Hillgrath super Trooper and her sire is Hillgarth Duke. She has amazing bloodlines all the way back. She's not your usual stocky Welsh and has quite fine legs. She is registered and passported with the Welsh Cob society and is microchipped.She is good to brush, have feet done and will stand for the vet and to be clipped. She is currently fully shod on all fours, as she can get foot sore without. She needs to be sedated to have her teeth done as this is something she gets nervous over. She is up to date with all worming, back and teeth but needs her vaccines restarting. She travels in a trailer WITHOUT the partition and another horse, but won't travel otherwise due to an accident. I've never tried her on a wagon since this, therefore I wouldn't know. She has jumped both coloured and natural fences, up to 80cm, Rosie enjoys all spheres. She was professionally backed as a four year old by a 4* eventer. As a 4 year old she achieved 66% and 69% in both her dressage tests and won the junior section over all. She is currently out of work and has been since October , as unfortunately I can't ride anymore due to injuries to my back. Therefore this Mare will be sold from the field unless buyer would like to try. She is wasted with me and I have owned her since she was 10 months old, so homes will be vetted. This Mare can be spooky at times (pheasants and wind) when being brought back into work but goes when she is ridden daily. She loves a good hack out and is bombproof on the roads and in traffic, this doesn't phase her. No Children or anyone incapable of handling her- she often prances down to the field on a morning! Lives in on a night, otherwise she'd balloon (Loves food). Rosie won inhand champion and overall supreme of the show as a 3 year old- therefore a great showing prospect. Registered section D 13:3hh 4yr bay mare project pony Very pretty and genuine mare, broken this summer and riding away ready to further her education. She hacks out alone and in company, fab in traffic as she lives on a farm so big machines not an issue. Jumping a small course of jumps, barrels, blocks, logs never stops and enjoys it, plenty of scope to go bigger, working in a nice outline and really aims to please. Can ride her in big open spaces at the speed you want, she never attempts to buck or rear, you can just ask her to go up the gears or down and she politely obliges and doesn't hot up. (I have taken on the gallops with nutty pointers and she really was a saint!!) excellent to load, shoe and amazing to clip, just stood there enjoying it. She can be nervous in the stable, really needs more fuss and attention on a one to one basis to build a relationship, however we have done everything with her without any major issues. Welsh section D 10yr old mare for sale or possible lease to the right home.15.2 I have owned this mare since a 3yr old and broke her myself so this is a very hard decision but she is currently wasted at present and I feel she is too good to sit in a field any longer. She was lightly but very successfully shown as a 4/5 year old after which I became pregnant and she then bred me two beautiful dun colts. One of which we retained.
