WASP Trailer Log for use in yacht navigation. For anyone who doesn't know what this is, you drag the propeller behind a yacht and it provides the water speed. This is a Wasp Globemaster Trailer Speedometer Log Pack. It has been used only twice and has measured only 4.8 nautical miles. It is a very reliable British made instrument and would be perfect for a traditional sailing craft with no electrics. It is sold with its original box and instructions and includes spinning impeller, line and pushpit mounting bracket. It is in as new condition and ready to go. This is a classic quality instrument and is rarely seen for sale these days.

PORTLAND SPEED-TIME-DISTANCE CALCULATOR for Chartwork and Navigation,  ideal for RYA training DESCRIPTION The Portland Speed-Time-Distance calculator is a really simple-to-use tool for making your chartwork and navigation easier and more accurate. The most common way to use the calculator is to slide the scale until your speed is shown against one of the arrows, then look along the time scale and read off the distance you will travel in that time. The calculator works just as well being used to work out your speed given a distance travelled and time taken, or use it to find how long it will take to travel a particular distance at your chosen speed.
