Horse or pony wanted to exercise

I have a window of four to six weeks without any riding. My beautiful girl stood on a nail two weekends ago and is currently on box rest awaiting the outcome of an operation. I am walk/trot/canter fit and have land and stables adjoining the Brechfa forest,just ten miles outside Carmarthen. Maybe there is someone with a horse/pony out there,that needs exercise getting fit for the oncoming showing or LDR season. Fantastic ten star horse accommodation with our house, ten paces from the yard. I'm retired,at home all day and ten and a half stone. I have been riding for 40 years,and need to continue so I don't get saddle sore (again) awaiting my mare to get better. PLEASE no nutters,I need something that will stand to be mounted from a block,hedge row,bridge etc as the forestry riding throws up all amount of obstacles. Also must be able to be ridden on our tiny lanes that sometimes have tractors etc on them. I know that it takes weeks and weeks of walking up hills and down dales to get a horse fit,we have the hills and I have the time. Any horse coming here will need to be shod and sound,as the forestry tracks and streams,rivers have loose stones. Anything considered. No cost either way. I will provide feed,hay,polos and carrots and a lovely bed. This is a Genuine advert. I hadn't ridden for 5 years before getting my new girl a year ago,and don't want to have to start again,on her recovery. WANTED - Horse to buy!

Looking for a horse to join our little herd! Must be: - safe/sane - 15h2 upwards (if around 15h1-3 must be stocky) - mare or gelding, but can not be dominant, as our older big boy is the alpha male & looses weight if he is stressed by another - field manners a must, as our fields are large & so too is being dog friendly! - non food aggressive as our old boy is fed through out the year - non fizzy - will still be the same if left a week (generally schooled if we are unable to ride!) - experienced in woods, open fields, country lane rides with farm machinery - ability to go out alone a bonus, but not a necessity as we mostly go in pairs or four - barefoot a huge bonus but not essential! - must be able to live out 24/7 with relevant rugs/feed An experienced forever home awaits, especially in older horses & bringing back into work.
