I have done some hacking and schooling work since, but I haven't ridden for 6 years and want to get back in the saddle. Coloured cob sensible happy hacker

Elsie is a 17 year old 14hh coloured mare. We bought her because her previous owner was too ill to take care of her and it felt like the right thing to do. She has been ride and drive in the past but has had several years off and had a couple of foals. We are currently bringing her back into work, sorted her teeth, feet etc out and had her fully checked by a vet. She now does some lovely basic groundwork and is a willing learner. She is easy to trim, good for the dentist, polite to handle, she lunges, loads and travels easily and loves to be brushed. She is a bit green in the school which is reflected in the price, happy hacking out so we think this is pretty much what she has done in the past. She is solid in traffic and sensible to hack out in company. She will go out alone but is a little nappy to start, this will only improve as we’ve only done it once!
