Wanted; Safe, Competition Gelding

I am looking for a gelding between 15.3hh and 16.3hh, 5 to 11 years old. I am a competent but nervous rider, so would like a riding club horse with scope for Novice level eventing. He must be safe and sensible, but also have ability. Essential can hack alone and in company. But will require sole hacking at times, so a must to be able to go out alone. Ideally no vices, but if perfect in every other way, i.e. rideable and safe, am open minded to minor issues. Will be subject to a full 5 stage vetting. In return I’ll provide a 5* home, with full stabling facility, to be kept in over winter, membership of a local riding club, so regular exercised, with access to plentiful hacking in the country. My horses are pets, they are cherished members of my animal family, and want for nothing, are always fully insured and receive full veterinary care when and if required (I have 2 vets in the family). I am looking for a forever companion to grow my confidence with and on have some fun at a competitive level. Unfortunately I have my old boy for rehoming. Please don’t let his age put you off he’s in good health. He’s 25. He’s up to date with vaccinations teeth feet. Recently had a check up from the vet and back check. I retired him 2 months ago as I bought a younger horse. He’s been turned out on grass livery. But he looks really fed up he misses doing a job. He’s brilliant with kids novices can ride him. He does not hack alone he just plants his feet. He’s a happy hacker doesn’t like the school but will go in on lead rein. Doesn’t bite buck rear kick etc. Great in traffic. Doesn’t like bycicles snorts at them. He would suit a home as a light hack/companion he has mild arthritis but can still be ridden vet has given the all clear. He is a really lovely boy he can have his stubborn moments but he is great to handle and isn’t a bad bone in his body.before he retired he worked in the riding school doing the kids parties and hacks. hope he can find a lovely home where he will be loved as much as I love him. He is excellent in heavy traffic good to box travel + catch he is barefoot all round but has been shod in the past! He will hack out only in company first or last. Lives in or out. Lovely 3 YO Gelding great local competition/PC prospect in

Bold forward going sports type pony, Bandit. Fun loving, Lovely boy who adores and thrives on human contact. Recently backed this summer now needs bringing on. This pony will do anything for you he is sharp and will make an excellent xcountry, SJ, WH, PC or dressage pony. I rescued him at 5 months of age. This pony has had the best of upbringing, never sick or sorry. up to date with teeth, vacs, feet worming etc. Brave boy who will go far in the right hands. Only selling as I am too heavy for him, he is too sharp for me and he needs a regular jockey (current one has her own pony so no time to ride him regularly) NO NOVICES! Pony needs a competent child/teenager/small adult or child with knowledgeable parent. Please no messer's and ABSOLUTELY NO DEALERS! this is a difficult decision and i am so attached to him it has taken me 6 months to pluck up the courage to put him up for sale but I believe it to be the best for this pony who definitely needs a regular challenging job later on in his life. Bandit has been ridden approx. 15 times so please do not expect to view a pony working in an outline, but he learns quick. Has seen traffic several times. Needs bringing on to bring out his full potential but for the right person will be a great partnership. Homes will be vetted and i would like to stay in touch with new owner. Last measured as a 2YO at 13.3 so probably 14hh by now. if not sold I will let him grow on. over winter then bring him back for sale next summer. stunning temperament, even the non horsey YO pays visits to the yard just to see Bandit. Big smart safe gelding in Banbury

yo dapple grey ISH gelding Very willing boy, excels at hunting and showjumping, needs a confident rider as can be spooky, (he just shys) but I've had novices on him out hacking with my other horse and he's been great, he's not strong either. Out hacking alone can be spooky (doesn't spin or nap) never silly and certainly never dangerous. As long as you've got the confidence to push on he's fine or he will just stand there.. This guy has given me my confidence back in riding and we've had some awesome times together...but new job forces sale (a heartbreaking one at that) I imported him from Ireland 3 years ago and he's never even so much as stepped on me...perfect to handle on the ground, baths clipping shoeing etc Abit lazy schooling as it's not his favourite, but works in a nice outline and tries his hardest...put some poles out for him and he turns into a different horse...he's got a passion for jumping. Never refused a fence with me ever, jumped up to 1.20 competed 1m at local level Done cross country and hunting in U.K. And did 3 seasons in Ireland with the Gralliers Would suit a hunting home as he would be a weapon on the field, will cross any land fine with dogs other horses (not a kicker) he's not nasty in anyway shape or form...would make someone a wonderful team mate weather you want to jump Bsja or just have fun... He's the kind of horse you can leave in a field for months and come back to and he would be no different...
