I'm an intermediate rider now looking for a horse of my own after loaning for a while. I am putting this ad up very early (I plan to buy early next year) Need something hh. Age 4 or more, any gender but no stallions, at least half warm blood. Will mainly be having fun, messing around, doing pony club, hacking out and eventing, maybe hunting if horse is suitable. 16 hh all rounder for share. Full livery, no yard duties. 2 flexible days per week, £150 pcm (£ per day) Maisie is suitable for a fairly competent intermediate rider or for somebody a little further on. She would suit a rider who doesn't mind getting their leg on as she is quite laid back on a general level and who is also capable of being positive and giving confidence to Maisie on windy days when she's more bouncy and on her toes. Maisie gets plenty of turn out so isn't especially sharp but she does need riding. She would be perfect for someone who has a keen interest in improving their riding in the school and who would possibly like to take advantage of the quality coaching which is available on site. Whilst Maisie does hack alone, you need to be quite positive to replace the comfort of a friend's presence. Aside from possibly topping up hay or water, there is no need for yard duties. However Maisie does love attention so any extra grooming and fuss beyond the required feet picking and brushing off sweat would be welcome. The yard is situated in Northaw and you do really need a car- there is a bus but it's not especially regular. The arena has a proper all weather surface that stands up to anything. He's been brought back into work and he's been hacking out alone and in company and isn't fazed by any traffic, been in the school, jumped and hunted on Saturday (18th november) jumping awful ditches taking everything in his stride! Hardest decision I’ve had to make but I’m selling my horse kid he’s a 15.2 Connemara 13yr old, this is through no fault of his own only because of a relationship breakdown and having a almost 1 year old Baby on my own now is difficult! He’s got a lot of energy and I can’t exercise him enough during the week, not a novice he needs an experienced rider as can be challenging and will take the mick if he can & gets excited at times! 110% bomb proof on the road, and his schooling is coming along nicely as and when I can jump on him! Absolutely heart breaking Sale of a much loved horse. Freddie is the type of horse who will give as much love as she gets. She has a heart of gold, with a cheeky personality to go with it.
