Looking for new best friend

Can't really believe I'm having to write this. I met my best friend 1.5 years ago when he was 3. Spent the last year and half trying to fix him, spending thousands at the vets on bone scans, X-rays, blocks, MRIs... he was put to sleep due to the extend of the damage a short while ago. I'm seeking my new best friend, something that can stay with me for the rest of their life. I intend to do a bit of everything (jumping, dressage, happy hacking etc.). I'm happy for a project, but prefer that hes ok with busy roads (only way off our yard is onto main bus route). Would prefer no schooling as I like to do it myself. Owner can come see him whenever they'd like. The yard he'd be kept on can be vetted, and is 5*. I already have a stable and field ready as have kept it on from losing my boy. Prefer a gelding, 14.2+, any colour or breed (not tb). Any horse i consider will be fully vetted and X-rayed. Nothing over 8yo. Please contact me if you have anything suitable Read more

Looking for a new best friend

Super 13.3hh pony, 13 years old with low mileage; she has been outgrown by both of my children and she is now without a job. She is a black Highland/Haflinger cob type easy to do (clip, shoe, box), and an incredibly good doer. We have had this super pony for 5 years and she has taught my son at 11 years how to ride, and she has restored my daughter's confidence. She has a very lovely personality, and she is smart. She does not buck or rear. She is agile, loves sponsored rides and hacking, she loves water, gymkhanas, jumping and having fun. We have done a little intro dressage and she did herself proud. She has a soft snaffle mouth and lives out all winter. Because of her type she needs a little more care during the summer against midgies and flies, and she requires limited grass. Please do come and meet her. She would be super for a mother/daugher or mother/son share; she is suitable for a small teenager, or a gung-ho youngster. My pony is quite heavily built, so not suitable for a fragile child. Her vaccinations are up to date. She wears half a set of shoes. Much loved by all the family and now sadly outgrown by teenager, used mainly to hack, for riding lessons, and some jumping at local shows. Has done some pony club in previous home, including camp. Easily jump courses 80cm, has done X country. Current home more than 2 years. Hacked out regularly alone and in company, on rural roads, tracks and hill. Needs a fairly confident rider if hacking alone as she can be a little timid and needs clear direction. Used to dogs, bikes, traffic passing close in rural lanes. This little allrounder is very sociable, with people and horses, loves a scratch, very cute. Lives out, clipped and rugged, fully shod. Up to date with tetanus, teeth, worming. Best friend needed

Due to losing my two very old girls to health related problems we have found ourselves with a very upset little jug. We have two small children so please nothing older than 4 months or bigger than a pug, small spaniel. Needs to be the quiet one in the litter and want to be a real cuddle wump - we do lots of walking and playing outside but don't want anything too boisterous. My heart has been missing our beloved rescue dog, I still step over him at night but he isn't their ??..... he was pts at the age of 14 a doby!!.... I like to hope their is someone who is in a difficult position and need to rehome a belove dog. I used to rescue rotts but my boy was in a bad place so I saved him ashe was going to be used as a travellers security dog!!!! He was too beautiful !!!' So I took him.......
