Dog in need of new home

Due to my partner and I splitting I have had to make the upsetting decision of rehoming my lovely dog. She needs a lot of attention and training which she hasn't had enough of since I had kids and now becoming single a mum i will not have the time for her. She is called Keika (kee-ka) 4 year old sprollie. She has been spade and microchipped. She is a very loving dog who want to please everyone. She can be nervous with other dogs but will settle when she gets to know them. She is great with my children and the perfect family dog - i am absolutely gutted i cannot keep her but i know it would be unfair due to the amount of time she will be left when I am at work. Wanted: New Best Friend

I'm 34 and I work from home. I live in Chellaston, Derby. I have two boys, 7 and 5. I haven't ridden since they were born, but I used to be proficient (can't say that I still am though!) I am looking to get back into the saddle now that my boys are in school. I am looking to start with a companion/light hacking horse - not out of being a novice, but because I was never one for jumping or shows! I was hoping to be able to take my boys out on a lead rein and hope that they catch the horsey bug so I can convince the husband that we NEED a horse:) I would like to ease us all back in gently so am only interested in horses that need/would like light riding/hacks rather than those preferring to work/jump as it wouldn't be fair on the horse to get loves and kisses all day if he prefers to run! I am looking ideally for a 14.5hh weight bearing Section D, or a 15hh+ of any other breed. My ideal horses are Shires or Clydesdales as that is what I used to ride when I was younger, but absolutely happy to consider any that need a bit of love. I'm happy for a project, but prefer that hes ok with busy roads (only way off our yard is onto main bus route). Would prefer no schooling as I like to do it myself. Super 13.3hh pony, 13 years old with low mileage; she has been outgrown by both of my children and she is now without a job. She is a black Highland/Haflinger cob type easy to do (clip, shoe, box), and an incredibly good doer. We have had this super pony for 5 years and she has taught my son at 11 years how to ride, and she has restored my daughter's confidence. She has a very lovely personality, and she is smart. She does not buck or rear. She is agile, loves sponsored rides and hacking, she loves water, gymkhanas, jumping and having fun. We have done a little intro dressage and she did herself proud. She has a soft snaffle mouth and lives out all winter. Because of her type she needs a little more care during the summer against midgies and flies, and she requires limited grass. Please do come and meet her. She would be super for a mother/daugher or mother/son share; she is suitable for a small teenager, or a gung-ho youngster.
