Wood matured and mellowed over time to create a great sound Gorgeous blue colour, white pickguard and maple neck (with no wear or damage), 6 string, great machine-heads, holds tune fantastically, 22 frets, original contour body, made in USA...selling reluctantly. This American Strat has not been used much. It has been played but always looked after & stored carefully. It has never been damaged / repaired, all parts are authentic. Even the colour is more tasteful and not the most common /run of the mill finish that Fender do. If you see amazing guitars for sale online and your heart sinks when you see photos of them leaning up against radiators or laid out in the garden. Please be aware this guitar has never been placed near a radiator, left exposed to changing temperatures or dust, it has never been dropped, it comes from a home with no smokers and pets and it has been looked after extremely well ! SPECIAL FEATURE: This guitar give you the US strat 3 single coil pick up sounds you'd expect... But this guitar also has a custom feature built in that newer US Fender Strats in the shops costing £+ do NOT give you !! When you pull the tone dial upwards (see photos attached), it offers a completely different sound pallette giving the guitar a boost. The sound is much like a humbucker, really natural and authentic sounding. This guitar can give you either the classic US 3 single coil classic feel but also a US humbucker Strat (e.g. a Fender Lonestar) sound as well if you want it (you can switch between either mode) !! It is worth mentioning that this isn't a modification I made or added, my understanding is that it was built like this and came like this custom from Fender If you're looking for something different, versatile, unique, great for recording, practice or live work...check this guitar out !! You can try before you buy; there's either an amp or a computer here you can play through, but you are welcome to bring your own amp.
