Fender Jaguar Japan Seafoam green Matching headstock + Modifications

Fender Jaguar CIJ Crafted In Japan. This one is Seafoam green, a slightly darker surf green. I bought it used and the seller said it is approximately 15 years old. It is in truly excellent condition bar the two dinks I have pointed out in the photos, they are tiny dinks only, not chips down to the wood, the one on the body is not noticeable as it is the place where your arm is when playing and the one of the back of the headstock is absolutely minor, so minor you probably wouldn't even notice it if I didn't highlight it. The seller had the original pickups upgraded with Seymour Duncan hot for Jaguar pickups and they certainly sound much brighter and more Jaguar like. I also have the original pickups included. I have upgraded the bridge to a Mustang bridge although I'm sure a Staytrem or Mastery bridge would be much better, the tremolo arm is included and the tremolo works nicely as do all of the switches, no loose ones. I have added a tortoise pickguard which I think looks far nicer than the original white one but the white one is also included. Comes with a near new Fender gig bag. Shipping will be £20 by courier. This is in absolutely stunning condition for a 20-year-old guitar; it has been treated with love and respect and has never been gigged. Do take careful note of the following cosmetic blemishes, however: There is some slight zip rash from a soft carry-case on the bottom edge. On the REAR of the headstock there is a slight chip to the lacquer (not the wood) which has been re-lacquered but is still visible. On the REAR of the headstock there is a small concavity where the wood had slightly chipped; this has been filled with glass resin and varnished but is still visible. On the rear bout, there is a very faint patch of dark colouration under the lacquer; this has been there since new. The guitar is fully set up with new strings and is ready to play. The case is an absolutely brand new tweed affair with plush crimson lining, triple-clasps and keys. It is a Gear4Music make but has been debadged! This is your best chance of getting a USA-made Strat this side of a thousand pounds. The serial number is N and you will see that this checks out as having been made in Corona, California in . It has a Fender Anniversary plaque on the rear of the headstock. I can post but costs will be high because of the weight and the insurance. USA Fender Stratocaster & USA Squier Stratocaster electric guitars

Fender Stratocaster made at Corona plant, USA in (comparatively) rare natural finish. Full working condition with no particular damage (there is a slight scuff on the top of the headstock as per picture 4) and plays very nicely - good stratty tones and you'd expect. Only very minor fretwear as is consumerate with the age. I also have the 'matching' (aesthetically at least) natural finish USA made Squier (that isn't a mistake - Squier made guitars in USA for a year between and due to factory reorganisation). This guitar is mostly original although it has had the body changed for a natural 'Squier' made body (but not USA made - believed to be far eastern) and also the pickup covers have been swapped out for black ones. This guitar is not in as good condition as the USA Fender above and shows a few knocks on the body and neck and is missing a pickguard screw. On the plus side it does have a lovely flaming on the grain of the neck - something you don't generally see on the modern Squiers. Both guitars come as pictured, neither have a case or a whammy bar. As is usually the case with a secondhand guitar, the buyer may wish to have the guitar set up although I would say that it is only the Squier that is in need of set up at this stage.
