Family dog wanted. Looking for a dog to join our family. I have four children but one has left home and the other will be off to university come September. My two youngest are ten and twelve so no longer little. Ideally, I'd like the dog to also join me at work so the dog wouldn't be left alone either. We have gardens to both the front and back of our house and are surrounded by fields and are lucky that the beach is within a five minute walk. Don't mind an older dog so long as any medical issues are told so we can prepare for the dogs needs. Equally, we don't mind if any basic dog training is required as I've prior experience and for us it's about finding the right dog for our family, issues aside. We do have cats so I will need to know this won't be an issue. Happy for a full house check and to update with pictures and how the dog is doing. Having grown up with dogs my husband and I have always wanted to own one ourselves, but have never had time or space. Now that we do we are looking for a family dog, whose owner is looking to rehome. Ideally we would like a small to medium sized dog. It must be OK living with children - our daughter is 6. She is used to dogs. We were originally planning to rehome from a rescue centre, but it seems it is very hard to rehome from these if you have children. We are not particular as to breed. Willing to pay approximately the amount asked as an adoption fee by recue centres - approx. £150 - as long as vaccinations etc are up to date, neutering/spaying has taken place and the dog is microchipped. If these have not been done, we are happy to take on these tasks as long as the price reflects this. We will ask to see vaccination schedules, evidence of neutering/spaying and be given information about the microchip. Read More

We are looking for a young dog to join our family, ideally the dog wouldn't be much more than a year old as we have a two year old son and would like them to grow up together.
