I am desperately looking for a companion gelding to keep my 5 year old gelding company. His best friend is very sadly going to be PTS and he will need some company. He will have a fantastic home, lovely large airy stable at night and daily turnout. He will be loved and groomed and taken for in hand walks. I have over 40 years experience with horses and can provide excellent references and you will be able to visit as and when and I will provide frequent updates. I dont mind age, colour etc and happy if they can still be lightly hacked etc but wouldnt want to take on serious health issues as we have had the last four years coping with that. Read More

Shetland pony wanted free to 5* home as long term companion. Please no rigs mares who have strong seasons and wind the boys up;) I have a lovely pony who was cut late so has been know to get territorial if he feels he needs to protect his girls so can't have another who does the same or a mare who is a big tart. It’s with the heaviest of hearts that I’m trying to re home my lovely 13.3 fell pony William. William is 10 years old and I’ve had him since he was 2. William has an old patella injury which causes him absolutely no pain what so ever!he is not on any medication/painkillers and the vet says he won’t ever have to be. He just looks lame. I've had him 3 years and in this time we have competed XC (placed every time), hunted, SJ, team chased and attended los of clinics. At the moment he's hacking out but his fitness levels need improvement, sadly at the moment I don't have the time. He did have a high suspensory (front) injury but this was over two years ago, he was treated accordingly and he is fully sound. Hacks alone or in company, will go first or last and is never sharp or silly. Home is far more important than price as he's a horse of a lifetime and deserves to be loved and enjoyed. Mature Gelding for hacking/companion/retirement home

I'm looking for a loving, long term home for my gorgeous, 15.3hh, bright bay, half Hanoverian gelding. I've had Pride since he was 2 years old and am regretfully re-homing due to his companion being sold and lack of time on my part. Must have previous experience - owned or loaned horses before. He's 24, in good health and looks more like 12. He has a lovely nature, no vices and has taught many kids to ride over the years. However, he can still get a little on his toes when out hacking so may be better suited to a confident rider. He needs very little leg - might be getting on a bit but is no plod! Saying that he will quite happily go around an arena with a child and trot on command, good as gold. He is great in traffic and used to big trucks and tractors passing. He's good with farrier/ dentist/ clipping but doesn't really like to travel after a bad experience so not suited to someone wanting to take him places. I'm looking for someone that will give him the attention he requires into his retirement years and will keep him with company until his final days. BOMBPROOF 14.2 gelding to 5??Home only

FOR SALE! To a 5?? HOME ONLY! 14.2hh coloured gelding. Boi is 13years old bombproof in all ways. He has brought my daughter on from nervous and very novice, to teaching her to canter and jump and then entering her first show, winning her classes and being awarded reserve champion! Boi is a true schoolmaster. He hacks through all traffic and is not bothered by lorries or tractors, he steps up his work dependant on the ability of his rider and really enjoys jumping. He has been ridden by complete novices to very experienced riders and he steps it up or down when needed. The only issue we have with boi is he can be difficult to catch if turned out in a big field with lots of grass (but even then we now have a system lol) boi likes routine and if he is brought in every day he will be waiting at the gate. Boi is barefoot and has never been sick or required the vet. Please only 5 star long term homes need apply as this is a very difficult decision to make and he will be very very difficult to replace however my daughter has hopelessly outgrown him and we can't afford to keep two.
