Hi there, I am a confident and competent teenage rider looking for a big horse preferably 16hh and over (due to me being 5"11) and I'm currently looking for a horse to do a bit of everything on, especially competing. Over 16hh horse wanted mostly for Hacking

I am 50 and in my younger days used to show jump, before family life kicked in 30 years ago. I have done some hacking and schooling work since, but I haven't ridden for 6 years and want to get back in the saddle. I am 16 stone so I'm looking for an Irish draught/part bred type horse over 16hh. I want a horse that will stand and is good in traffic, but doesn't get stupid in the field either as I'd like my nervous daughter to be able to ride him/her too. Any age under 20 considered and it doesn't matter if they've had injury aslong as they can still be hacked out. We have a horse already but due to injury hasn't been ridden for 6 years. Tinks is a beautiful 16hh bay ex hurdler who has just turned 8 years old. She finished racing last year and had a limited amount of time where she was hacked out in company and took part in fun rides. Excellent in the school, I need to be able to hack her out on her own due to where I live but at the moment she doesn't have the confidence to do so. 16hh Gentleman horse for sale

16hh, 16 year old riding horse for sale. Chester is a super gentleman, currently used as a hacking horse and we are looking for a similar home for him with somebody whom loves to spend time with their horse out in the countryside. He has had a varied career including western show horse, something I've never attempted but he has the skills! He can also jump but this is not something I've done a lot of with him. He has EXCEPTIONAL ground manners. He is calm, gentle and loves a fuss. Great to load, I have travelled him in both a trailer and horsebox by himself. Great to shoe and clip. A real confidence giver when out hacking. The type that is hard to find. Even if others are misbehaving he does not pay attention, isn't spooky. No issues with heavy farm traffic either. Quite large movement, lovely paces. Fine with dogs although has shown anxiety with packs of hounds so I do not want Chester to go to anyone whom would like a horse to hunt with as I think it would be an unrealistic expectation for him. Currently just shod on fronts as strong hind feet. Fully sound/up-to-date with all vaccinations. Tack available by separate negotiation. heartbreaking sale of my horse Zante Zante is a 17 year old tb dressage school mistress who also jumps I have done all activities with Zante pony club camp, rallies, all pony club shows, riding club shows, cross country, trailblazer show jumping, pony club area dressage in the intermediate last year, did the interbranch pony club dressage open this year which she came 2nd, qualified for the trailblazer showjumping final in the 95cm this is in august. she has also competed in sib toys qualifiers coming,winner at Newark and notts county show in the tara showing class she has previously done British dressage and eventing with her old owner. Zante loves to hack out and is brilliant in open spaces good in traffic good to box, catch, shoe. Zante doesn't like to be clipped but has a very fine coat so she doesn't really need to be clipped Zante is such a lovely person who loves fuss and attention. Zante does windsock however this is only when she is stabled and this does not affect her in anyway. Zante is not a typical tb we don't have any problems keeping weight on her if anything she gets too fat, she also has brilliant feet.
