The object is truly fascinating, of high-quality craftsmanship. Remarkable woodworking and carvings and great attention to details, which are highly defined. Beautiful and large oak carved Madonna sculpture. It comes from Flanders and is made in a somewhat naive style. The sculpture has a dark brown patina and it is pretty old. We believe it comes from the first half of the 19th century, possibly the 2nd half of the 18th century. The condition is fairly good with various traces of age (see photos).
