(Tax exempt) VW Type 2 Bay Window Camper Van.  Affectionately known as Widjy!!! Just flown through his MOT with only advisories for CV boots. New OEM grade CV boots been fitted while he was there so he's good to go. Right hand drive (steering wheel on the proper side!!) He has a Devon Eurovette pop top, good canvas, watertight. Solid body, all metalwork was carried out by John at 81a VW Services in Southport using OEM panels. Interior refit carried out at Campershak. 2 bar roofrack with hardwood slats & stainless fixings.  Stainless steel American truck mirrors. Original steel wheels with 4 good chrome hubcaps & polished stainless steel beauty rings.  4 tyres with great tread & good spare mounted to front with colour coordinated cover.  All electrics in good working order. Towbar & working electrics. 240v hookup fitted. 12v 100a leisure battery fitted. Electric windscreen washers fitted. Clip on orange sun awning. Bodywork New front panel from roofline down including front valence & bumper panel.  New drivers door. Replacement passenger door. Grey superior door seals. New front wheel arch tubs. New cab floor. New seatbelt mount panels. Bottom 6 inches of sliding door replaced (correct curve to OEM panel so it fits correctly!) Both rear wheelarches replaced (inner and outer). Both rear corners replaced & new battery trays.  New inner & outer rear valance. Bottom 6 inches on drivers side replaced inside & out.  Cargo floor solid, no rust & undersealed. Rain gutters solid all round.  Running gear Recent front discs & pads & rear brake shoes.  Recent shock absorbers all round. Type 4 engine with progressive carb. Quick shift kit fitted & gear linkage bushes replaced (original 4 speed gearbox). Clutch replaced approximately miles ago, along with fuel hoses while the engine was out. New battery fitted this month. Interior - Cab Dashboard has oil pressure gauge, oil temperature gauge (dipstick sender) and clock in centre (all gauges work perfectly). VDO rev counter fitted to main binnacle (works fine) & all dash lights replaced.  Sony head unit with bluetooth & remote control. Pod speakers mounted behind front seats. Original steering wheel. Aluminium billet gear & handbrake knobs. New cab carpet. Front seats out of a low mileage MGF. New roof lining (Campershak). Colour co-ordinated door cards (Campershak). Between seat storage box (Campershak). 12v power socket. Interior - Back Full width rock & roll bed with colour coordinated vinyl on new cushions (Campershak). Rear 3 point seatbelts (x2) & lap belt. Full width curved unit with 2 cupboards & two drawers, curved shelving & space for fridge / coolbox (there is a 13a socket at rear of space as we used a minibar fridge on zig during travelling & hook up when camping) (Campershak). Overhead storage locker with LED spotlights (Campershak). 12v strip light above louvred window (Campershak). 3 way speakers, zig controller & 2 x plug sockets in kick boards (Campershak). Colour coordinated lino to floor.  Fully insulated (Campershak). Side panels in coordinating vinyl (Campershak). Full set of curtains. Full set of insulating thermomats. **Please note, there is no cooker or sink in the van. We had the interior built to our specifications. We never used the old sink. We didnt like the smell of cooking in the van, nor the risks of sleeping with gas cylinders!!** He starts 1st turn of the key. There is a lever arch folder with a plastic wallet for each year since holding every receipt, MOT and even tax discs. Lots and lots (and LOTS) of photographs showing various stages of repairs and updates, far too many to put on this listing (supplied on a memory stick). Bad Points Paint looks great, super shiny but its not showroom fresh. We use him loads so there are the odd marks & chips. Rear hatch has some rust inside the bottom edge (treated so hasnt progressed). Passenger door (so called rust free import) has some minor bubbling to the bottom edge (outside only, door bottom is solid). Engine bay could do with a tidy up. Im a firm believer in "if it aint broke don't fix it!!" It won't take much to make him perfect....... if the perfect look is your thing. We bought him to use, not show, and he has been awesome and will continue to be an awesome home from home with no additional work. Reluctant sale of our very much original and reliable orange and white, RHD ’73 ‘westy’. We’re only the 2nd owners since new and have 4 folders full of history. We purchased it in November and since then we have covered England, Wales, Ireland and western Europe with no hiccups. It is on its 2nd cc engine, which was fitted in Germany in August 91. In June we fitted a weber single carb conversion kit. MOT expires in August . The living area is all original Westfalia, which comprises of full width rock n roll bed, fold away 2 ring gas hob, sink, cooler box fridge, wardrobe, swivel/removable table, buddy seat/stool and 2 berth pop top. Also included is the original awning and child’s hammock bed, which fits over the front cab seats. VW Campervan - litre Type 2 VW Westfalia

Bluebell - l Type 2 VW Westfalia Campervan Bluebell is tax exempt and an original German Westfalia factory conversion. She is a right-hand drive, has just been serviced and has 12 months MOT. Bluebell is a genuine van and she is great fun for a day out or a camping holiday - with the extras included she is summer ready. We bought Bluebell in from a couple who had owned her since . We did a lot of restoration work to her in , photos of the restoration are available. Bluebell is a dry van and doesn’t smell like an old boat inside. We have kept her as stock as possible with no modifications. She has been MOT’d and serviced every year since she was restored. During restoration all door cards were replaced and the front seats professionally recovered to match the door card colours. The cab has luxury rubber mats and cab floor/seat anchor carpet covers. All door and window rubbers, including the Westfalia windows, were replaced with new. Both front doors were replaced with Californian imported dry doors. All doors and inner panels have been Waxoyled. A new leisure battery was fitted and is all wired up to run any internal electrics if needed independent of the engine electrics. To make Bluebell look a little special she has stainless steel beauty rings, chromed copper headlamp surrounds and original ’s Lucas lamps (fitted last year) together with stainless steel window wipers. All lock barrels match apart from the ignition so only two keys. The canvas was replaced with a high quality Westfalia style colour co-ordinated one. During restoration the engine was replaced with a new reconditioned unit and has only done about miles since, she was also fitted with a new carburetor and clutch. The engine is responsive and lively and has been tuned on her last service, she's never driven above 55mph. When serviced last week she had replaced both back brake drums and shoes. As you can see from the photos she is in good overall condition. The body and paintwork is in the main good but she does need some repairs to rust patches on the bodywork and the gutters, parts of the gutters are poor in places. The only other minor repair needed is the roof lining above the drivers head. Serious buyers only please. A deposit will be required with full payment by bank transfer. VW Type 2 Campervan

Tilly is a (tax exempt) crossover bay window in very good condition, the blue half of her was re-sparyed in April and the white touched up. The engine is newly refurbished and refitted last week (9th September) with a new starter motor and throttle cable. All paperwork can be provided. We have owned Tilly for 4 years and in that time refurbished her gearbox and upgraded gear lever to a short-shifter which makes her very easy to drive. She has a very good service history and starts and drives beautifully and her wheels were refurbished 2 years ago, and comes with 4 good tyres. She also has had new floor tiles and door trim, professionally made curtains, door cards, headlining, seat covers, bunk bed hammocks, table top, stereo speakers, glove box lid and stereo. She has an integrated gas cooker, sink with manual pump, 2 way fridge and split charge system so has 240v power when hooked up.
