Reluctantly selling our T2 Camper, with two sliding doors. We've not had the opportunity to use it as much as we hoped & it deserves to be used. It's a beautiful van/colour and always turns heads! We had a couple of problems with it last year (niggles due to age) which have been fixed by replacing the starter motor & fuel pump. Lovely cc recon engine (82bhp) that has done less than 6k miles, new twin weber ICT carbs, stainless steel exhaust, SVDA dizzy with elec ignition, new clutch, new starter. Recon gearbox at same time. Solid underneath, pop top and canvas also in good condition. 2-way fridge, sink and tap, 2 hobs, grill, 3/4 r&r bed, double bed up top, plenty of storage. Bodywork is pretty untidy, all doors need work/replacement, no major welding but a good tidy and respray would be nice at some point. A solid, reliable van though and ready for action and new adventures. Up for sale is my much loved T2 Bay window camper Molly. She is a late Bay and is quite rare as she has a sliding door on both sides, MOT'd and comes with the larger more powerful cc aircooled engine. Molly has just undergone an extensive restoration being completely re-sprayed in orange and white. She has also had an engine rebuild costing just short of £. Internally she has retained her original front seats but has had a new roof liner and refreshed cards. A full width rock n roll bed with a brand new brown cover has been fitted with matching bed and storage compartments in the boot. The pop top allows you to be able to stand up when cooking or washing up on the kitchen unit with Smev hobs and sink. A new flooring completes the finish. Jobs still to do - She will require a gas bottle for the hobs and the drivers side sliding door is very stiff due to lack of use so will need a good greasing. vw camper t2 late bay mot small project drives

vw late bay tin top, , originally from Arizona, very solid,very small easy project,  Be the first to camp in it. No welding needed, chassis is in great condition, all jacking points solid, front panel very solid, all wheel arches are straight and solid. The paintwork is in its original colour, and the body does have a few dings in it, but easily repairable. It's got a superb patina look to it with its sunburnt Paint. 1 key fits all the doors, with a separate new ignition barrel and key. The engine is a cc with twin carbs, sounds great, just needs a tune or maybe even a good run, pulls superb. no leaks, no Endfloat, gearbox and clutch is good too, I will list everything I have Puchased for it, we named it "clem" short for clementine. It has a westfalia wardrobe (from Just kampers). A original Westfalia rock n roll bed, covered in black vinyl. The camper has insulation throughout, new carpets in the front, and in the back. newly covered front seats,(small tears in)  it's a walk through. dash board is cracked  (from the hot usa sun). door cards are ok, few tears in,but cheap and easy to replace. New kick Panels. The headlining is original, it is very dry and easily damaged, but it's there. interior lights are missing. The indicator stalk is faulty, I Puchased a new one but it's the wrong one, I can supply that anyway. Maybe you can adapt it to fit ? It's had new brakes that still need to be beaded in, I have not even covered 5 miles on them. The front beam has been greased etc. It also has had a new windscreen fitted, with new window rubbers fitted throughout  (other than 1 window). I motd the bus, to use it,then decided to replace parts here and there,so it has hardly been driven, it needs to be trailerd away, but after a day should be fine to drive. Any inspection welcome. either a easy re-paint, or run it original. I have lots of photos available for it, Health issues are forcing me to sell it. I have probably forgot to put more about it, but feel free To ask any questions. This great little bus is a very little project with only minor things to get it back on the road. Get ready for summer shows, and camping. It's a great little camper with superb character. Put your own stamp on it and head off. It looks better in real than in the photos. Sadly we need to depart with our much loved T2 camper due to a move. He is a T2 Bay with full 12 months MOT having just passed, and is tax exempt. Interior there is a seat that converts to a rock n roller bed, including all bedding, and a good amount of storage space In the last year he has really been looked after, with new brakes, cylinders, tyres, all new shocks, ignition, steering damper, and just been fully serviced. He's a good runner, left handed steering (but that hasn't been a problem at all for us!) and we have had some fun times in him - and hope to find someone who wants some adventures in him too!
