Mechanical Vostok Amfibia dive watch. I imported it from Ukraine following refurbishment and it works splendidly. Like all Vostok watches it has the pressure-seal waterproofing system which adaptively seals the watch case tighter as the watch goes deeper underwater- although I don't know for sure if the original 200m waterproof rating is still applicable as I have never tested it. From the looks of it it was made some time in the eighties. The bezel is bidirectional, but a little stiff. The mechanical(wind up) movement seems to normally last hours which is excellent for the age, and the date mechanism also works perfectly. It's a stunning example and the Sean Connery-style NATO strap included is practical and looks cool. As per the pictures, the lume is excellent and unlike on most watches it actually works! TAG HEUER Aquaracer Great dive watch from Tag. Thankfully you get what you expect with this watch - rock solid performance from a quality swiss watchmaker. Details: - 43mm size - Case material: stainless steel - Quartz movement - date window with magnifying lens - rubber strap with deployment clasp (super comfortable) - water resistant to 500m - RRP when new was £ As the photos show the watch has been worn and is showing a few signs of this wear as follows: - the bezel has some marks - the case has some minor scuffs/marks (no serious scratches etc) N.B. the glass (which is sapphire crystal) is completely clean and showing no signs of wear... no scratches at all. Great chance to own a watch from this legendary swiss manufacturer for a fraction of the cost - 43mm size means it is not crazy big on the wrist but is imposing and looks great. When buying I chose the quartz movement as you minimise servicing costs - which can run from £150 upwards for mechanical swiss watches. In September I had a new battery put in and had the bezel spring replaced so you are good to go for at least another 5 years of battery life as it was the first battery since I bought it in !
