Simon & Patrick Luthier Pro Mahogany (Made by Godin) Mint condition

This is a Simon and Patrick Luthier Pro Mahogany (made by Godin) in Mint Condition. I bought this in December last year, but I've not had the chance to use it. It was restrung with Nano coated strings at the time. I can't remember if they were d'addario or Elixir but they were deffo one of these. It has had a few strums and then has been sat in the case ever since. I've just got it out and checked it, tuned and polished and is in awesome shape. When I bought it I contacted Godin for info on it as I couldn't find anything on tinternet. This was their reply, Hi, Your S&P Pro Mahogany was built in and has a solid spruce top, a solid mahogany back, laminated mahogany sides, spruce bracing, a mahogany neck and a rosewood fingerboard and bridge. Hand built luthier made double cut les Paul with EMG 81, like Gibson, epiphone

A very unique guitar, I have no idea who made it originally and neither did the person I got it from although it is made to a very high quality, it is just worn from playing although I like that aesthetic. If you are wanting a pristine guitar this is not for you, it has a lot of character and shows it. It has a mahogany body and set mahogany neck, with ebony fretboard with a 25.5" scale length. A comfortable Ibanez Gibraltar bridge and what I think are old Schaller locking tuners along with an EMG 81 make this guitar very aggressive with great sustain from the mahogany. The neck is nice and round but not too thick, with the unfinished stain making it very fast to play compared to sticky gloss necks. The main bits of damage and wear can be seen in the photos although the finish is generally worn all over. Ad ID: Delivery Service Consumer Credit

's Les Paul DC copy - made in Japan

This is a 's Japanese copy of a Gibson Les Paul Special double cut. When I got it a few years ago, it had already lost its headstock logo, and despite making enquiries to people knowledgeable about Japanese copies of this era, I haven't been able to find a match - I don't think it's an Arbiter. But it's a great copy of a great guitar. When I got the guitar, it was in a bit of a state, so I upgraded the pickups to GFS Alnico Vintage soapbars and swapped in an adjustable wraparound bridge. The luthier also reset the fretboard, which had lifted a little. I didn't do any cosmetic work on the body, which has quite a few dings and scrapes, though the luthier sanded and finished a scrape on the back of the neck to stop it from affecting playability. As a result, the guitar plays and sounds great, but if you are looking for something pristine, this definitely isn't for you. It's a 40+ year old vintage guitar, and it had obviously taken a few knocks before I got hold of it. Sadly, it now has the opposite problem - it's just not getting played enough, so rather than have it sit there gathering dust and making me feel guilty, I've decided to sell it. Come and try it out.
