Vintage yellow ceramic teapot with snug fitted removable chrome metal insulated cover/cosy and cork stopper. Heavy. Think this may date back to c's? No makers mark on either the teapot or the cover, but cover is marked "Made in England" along the bottom edge and teapot has "Made in England" faintly embossed on the base. The handle on the insulated cover and the handle on the cork stopper are a type of plastic - maybe Bakelite? This is still in excellent pre-owned condition - it looks like it has never been used. There are a few small surface scratches on the chrome cover/cosy. The yellow ceramic teapot has no obvious chips/cracks/crazing. Found at the back of a cupboard while having a clear out - probably been there for some time! A really interesting piece of kitchenalia history. Vintage Everhot Insulated Teapot & Milk Jug Set 's

Unusual Ever-hot vintage insulated teapot and milk set circa 's. The teapot and milk jug themselves are pink, and the insulated covers are black with a rose print. The insulated cover of the teapot has the original felt lining and the milk jug comes without a lining as to avoid contamination of the contents. They are in excellent condition with only one chip to the teapot spout, as per photo. On the underside of the teapot are a couple of patches where the glazing has not completely covered the surface area. Strictly no separating of the set. Collection from Clifton, Bristol.
