For sale: one vintage wooden file cabinet. Why store your files in an ugly generic metal or plastic box? There are very few times you can say this, but: this file cabinet has character. It's antique and atmospheric. It’s almost certainly the most interesting file cabinet you'll come across. This is a fully operational file cabinet with four large drawers. It was produced by a company called Century in Utica, New York, USA, in the early 20th century. It's in good shape for a piece of furniture of this age: definitely not looking brand new (one drawer has a chip missing, which we have and which can be reattached--see photo), but with a nice surface, and working perfectly. Wooden filing cabinet with 2 drawers and a bottom file draw. Great condition apart from the middle draw has a slightly warped bottom but is still strong and secure. (please see photo) Also slight discolouration inside on some parts. The file draw is the 'foolscap' type which is 38.5cm between the rails. The cabinet is on caster wheels so it is easy to move around. It is also very sturdy and of a good solid build. Approx dimensions of whole unit: W - 45cm H- 56cm D- 47cm
