Vintage wooden file cabinet -- unique, stylish, and practical

For sale: one vintage wooden file cabinet. Why store your files in an ugly generic metal or plastic box? There are very few times you can say this, but: this file cabinet has character. It's antique and atmospheric. It’s almost certainly the most interesting file cabinet you'll come across. This is a fully operational file cabinet with four large drawers. It was produced by a company called Century in Utica, New York, USA, in the early 20th century. It's in good shape for a piece of furniture of this age: definitely not looking brand new (one drawer has a chip missing, which we have and which can be reattached--see photo), but with a nice surface, and working perfectly. Are you looking for some unique kitchen stools which show the individuality of your personality? I have loved spending time putting effort into giving these two stools a new lease of life! Originally made in the s, they have been sanded, partly painted with Annie Sloan 'Duck Egg' shade of chalk paint, waxed and then completely re-upholstered. The seats have new padding and were then re-covered with fire retardant material, before being finished with a waterproof fabric showing a retro pattern of food packaging. Drawers unique upcycled vintage wooden painted grey lovely

This is a vintage wooden chest of drawers that has been sanded, primed and then painted in three coats Valspar Eggshell storm cloud grey to provide a durable finish they describe as scrubbable. The brass handles have been cleaned and given a light rub to bring out the detail but are the originals and stand out against the grey background. The level of details and craftsmanship on this piece lead us to believe that it would have cost plenty when purchased new. It is made from two tone coloured copper and has lovely detail with a hammered background, a central metal crucifix with a wooden shrine over the top. Around the outer edge is the Dutch text 'Geef ons heden ons dagelijks brood' which translates as 'Give us today our daily bread'. All in good condition, just a few minor age related marks.
