Vintage Shabby Chic Glass Display Cabinet in Caldicot

BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE/SHABBY CHIC BOW FRONTED GLASS DISPLAY CABINET Beautiful Vintage Glass cabinet which has been painted in Farrow and Ball Off White and lightly distressed. The cabinet has its original key and is lockable. It would look very classy in many different rooms in the house, living room, dining room, conservatory, even a bedroom. The inside back of the cabinet has two mirror panels and the centre panel is covered in a cream damask material. There are two glass shelves which are in good order. A nice feature is that the glass door has lovely decorative, wooden scrolling. As this is a piece of SHABBY Chic Furniture there are a few of the expected minor flaws and chips but they do not spoil the beauty of this lovely piece of vintage furniture. Shabby Chic Bureau Bookcase/Secretariat with leaded stain glass windows

This charming rustic light blue bookcase with pretty stained glass windows has been painted with Annie Sloan’s ‘Louis blue’ chalk paint and finished with a clear wax. It could add cottagey charm and character to either a dinning room or lounge and be used to display dishes or books. The desk is good for storing lots of small things and could be used as an occasional desk. I used it mainly as a bookcase with extra storage. Dimensions: H (189 cm), D (38 cm), W (72.5 cm) The two bottom drawers are a bit stiff and sticky but this could probably be fixed with a bit of sanding or soap. At some point the hinges may need replacing though they are working now. It can be detached into two pieces, although because I have never detached it, the top part of the desk that the bookcase sits on hasn’t been painted. I’m not sure what decade this is from.
