Sansui AU-117 Amplifier, This is a Sansui AU-117 amplifier in excellent cosmetic condition and in full working order. Built SOLID and made to last. All controls are well lubricated and maintained so there is absolutely no 'crackles' on the volume, bass, treble and balance. I am only selling this due to a recent upgrade with more inputs. Having owned and maintained this amplifier for the last 10 years, this has served me well and I doubt if you would find one in the same condition as this. If you are looking for an amplifier to provide wall to wall bass...then this amplifier is definitely NOT for you as this is a true audiophile 'purist' amplifier of which concentrates on audio quality rather than 'bass' power. I could easily sell this on auction web sites of which would fetch a lot more than it's current price. Lacking space, I am regrettably letting this amplifier go at just £75. This amplifier has a tape input, tuner input, turntable input and 1 AUX input of which the output is 25w per channel. I bought this brand new in . It is 25 watts, and has reverb built in. It has always worked perfectly (still fantastic after 30 years), but I now have a hand wired boutique valve amp, so this doesn't get used anymore. Two inputs, one for lead guitar, and one for Rhythm guitar. Input volume, and master volume, so you can have clean, or overdrive at low practise volumes. When both volumes are turned up, this is loud enough for band rehearsals and small gigs. Also has reverb pedal. Pre-amp in / out, for connecting effects pedals into the loop, and a headphones socket for quiet late night practise. Simms watts trying to get modern, transistorised preamp, so all the control options that offers, like graphic eq, and a valve power section for that warmth. Kind of think this is a bass head, 100w is too much for guitar, but guitarists use 100w heads all the time, so can consider it either. This has been serviced by SMP Artizan, who I can't link, so guess google them, new caps and such so it is low noise and stable.
