Sansui AU-117 Amplifier, This is a Sansui AU-117 amplifier in excellent cosmetic condition and in full working order. Built SOLID and made to last. All controls are well lubricated and maintained so there is absolutely no 'crackles' on the volume, bass, treble and balance. I am only selling this due to a recent upgrade with more inputs. Having owned and maintained this amplifier for the last 10 years, this has served me well and I doubt if you would find one in the same condition as this. If you are looking for an amplifier to provide wall to wall bass...then this amplifier is definitely NOT for you as this is a true audiophile 'purist' amplifier of which concentrates on audio quality rather than 'bass' power. I could easily sell this on auction web sites of which would fetch a lot more than it's current price. Lacking space, I am regrettably letting this amplifier go at just £75. This amplifier has a tape input, tuner input, turntable input and 1 AUX input of which the output is 25w per channel. Here is a lovely vintage and rare WEM Dominator 25w valve bass amplifier which turns on but makes a loud buzzing/humming noise, I'm pretty sure it is a loose connection to the speaker or possibly a valve that's gone as that's the only sound I can get out of it at the moment. I'm selling it as seen as it'll need a service before use but once Working, these fetch around £300. As far as I can tell everything's original and hasn't been changed unlike some vintage amplifiers nowadays. I don't have the time to fix myself otherwise I would.
