Refectrory Table, Solid Oak, Antique, Retro, Vintage for restoration

A rare and unusual piece. This solid oak refectory style table has been in my family for years and stored for the last 20. Downsizing now forces sale. It's idea for an antique restoration project. Due to exact metric dimensions and unusual leg design I believe that it may not be English. It's in need of some skilled work to restore it to its full glory. The legs have had brackets fitted to repair cracks in the wood, but when assembled all parts fit securely together. The top is a single piece of oak, 5 cms (2") thick and very heavy. Antique Sideboard in dark oak restoration project

I have a dark oak sideboard for sale. The item is made from solid oak. The unit is solid and all the doors and draws work perfectly, however the top surface will need a little bit of restoration. I’m not sure exactly how old the item is but it can be viewed by arrangement. The measurements are 19 ½ inches deep, 29 inches high and 59 inches long. SHABBY CHIC VINTAGE OAK / OAK VENEER FARMHOUSE SIDEBOARD / C

This is a very handy sized Vintage Farmhouse style Sideboard which will fit in to many situations without overpowering a room like some large sideboards. It has been traditionally made and is thick sturdy Oak & Oak veneer, it has 2 doors and a full length shelf inside. The whole piece has been sanded and prepared then hand painted in Antique White. The paintwork was then very lightly distressed and finished with a Polyvine "Wax Varnish" which gives the look & feel of Wax but with the durability of Varnish. The top was taken back to bare wood, sanded and prepared then given our "Antique” stain which shows off the grain beautifully. The metal handles and hinges have been finished in a Satin Black Paint. Finally, the top was given 5 coats of clear Gloss Varnish for durability and to add to it’s style and charm.
