Danish Influenced Floating Top Mid Century Dressing Table

Striking mid century dressing table with beautiful 'floating' top. This gorgeous piece would make a stunning addition to your home. Produced in the s in teak with some veneer, that handsome floating top is complimented by stylish tapered legs. Storage is provided by four nicely sized drawers - plenty of room for anyone's beauty and grooming essentials! If preening and primping isn't your thing, simply remove the mirror and you've got an uber cool desk. Talking of which, the large mirror is original and has survived through the decades in excellent order. The dressing table itself is in very good vintage condition, with only a couple of little nibbles here and there to show for it's many years of being fabulous. Unusually for a piece of this nature and age, there are no notable scrapes, stains, burns or scratches to the top. There isn't a manufacturer's stamp or sticker to this piece, and having only seen one identical example previously I'm not 100% on the maker. It does however share much with the design of the most desirable G Plan pieces of this era, and has a very similar feel in terms of quality and look. This great looking statement piece measures W153cmXD43XH75cm without the mirror (H121 including this). It is reassuringly heavy, and will definitely need two people to move it. You are very welcome to collect from LN4 near Sleaford in Lincolnshire, or I can arrange delivery using a trusted and insured courier. Vintage Mid Century Light Oak Desk/Writing table

Vintage Mid Century Light Oak Desk/Writing Desk Beautifully made piece of old furniture. This is a very large desk, it measures: 137cm wide 76cm deep 75 cm tall The top does come off to assist moving it, with metal fittings under the top that can be undone to take the top off (although i have not tried this as we moved it into my home as whole) One very wide shallow draw across the middle with 2 deeper drawers on the right hand side and a handy writing/paper ledge that pulls out at the top. There are a quite a few ring marks on the top and some other marking on the top from years of use, and some surface damage to the left hand drawer handle, which could be sanded down. It is still a beautiful solid piece of vintage furniture despite the signs of wear, but selling at a lower price because of this. Only selling due to lack of space.
