Beautiful vintage western saddle in Dumbarton

This saddle has a beautiful design with fleece padding on the underside. The leather is in great condition however, it does have some rust on the buckles. Would fit cob size horse. Measurements are shown in the pictures above. Will be completely cleaned before it reaches its new home. Bargain price as it is just collecting dust here and needs to go. Patchwork vintage double bedspread handmade in Llanon

This bedspread/quilt/throw was handmade from squares, triangles and strips of polycotton in a mix of floral, plain and pattern with shades of pink, beige and chocolate with some white background. The pattern is a variation on traditional designs but I tried to ensure that the effect was tonally harmonius. I take great pride in my needlework, each item is totally unique and this has been discreetly initialed and dated in machine embroidery (GGS ) near one corner. It is sold as used but was only used occasionally in a guest bedroom and is not worn or faded.

Unique newly restored vintage patchwork rocking chair in

Solid wood framed upholstered vintage rocking chair. This is a beautiful and very comfortable piece of furniture. She has been fully stripped and the wood frame sanded back to its natural finish and waxed to enhance the woods beauty. New webbing fitted along with new wadding for comfort. A fire retardant liner has also been fitted for increased safety. The patchwork is a one off design hand sewn by myself using a mixture of stunning fabrics. This is a one off piece and is complete ready to find a new loving home. A real showstopper that will be a real talking point.

Patchwork vintage single bedspreads handmade pair in Llanon

This pair of bedspreads/quilts/throws were handmade from squares of polycotton in a mix of floral, plain and pattern with shades of apricot, sage green and beige on white background predominating. There is a similar symmetrical pattern of squares in each quilt but some variation in the materials employed, as you would expect in patchwork. I take great pride in my needlework and there are some nice details such as the ribbon embellishment on some squares and joins satin-stitched with Madeira thread. I have hand embroidered my initials and the date (GGS 89) on one corner. Although I have listed as used, they were only used occasionally in a guest bedroom and are not worn or faded. The only sign of use is a small stain with some bleaching around it on the reverse side near one corner which is shown in the last picture.

Unique patchwork vintage rocking chair in Ottery St. Mary

This is a chance to own a "One off" uniquely designed piece of furniture. The rocking chair has been sanded back to its natural wood and finished with a natural finishing wax so as not to detract from its beauty. This is a solid wood framed piece which we believe is possibly beech wood. The patchwork design has been hand sewn and fitted by myself along with new webbing supports for longevity. There is a small amount of finishing details to be done around the arms and the back, but this chair should be ready for collection from Wednesday onwards.
