A nice clean example with the original case. The bass shows very few marks. The neck & headstock are clean other than a few bumps and scraped around the edge of the body, some light wear on the underside of the neck and a small ding in the middle. The neck is straight and the action set up nice and low. The frets are in great shape and the truss rod is fully functioning. The headstock has no cracks/repairs. The original Moog circuitry and pots are untouched. Hi there. Here for sale is my gorgeous Gibson Flying V in Ebony with white scratch plate. As you know, the Gibson Flying V with it's iconic shape is a real beauty and a head tuner. I am very sad to be selling her as she is special to me being the first guitar I purchased once I became a professional session guitarist. (Selling various bits of gear currently due to needing to raise funds for an operation.) I take pride in how I look after all my guitars and gear, so you can be assured she has been treated with care. Being a session player I have used this guitar mainly for rehearsals and tv shows (She's never been toured, I use other guitars for touring.) She's played on The Jonathon Ross Show, MTV, and Graeme Norton Show, to name a few! Condition: The guitar - Generally fantastic for a vintage guitar (she is nearly 20 years old and many guitar collectors see the 20 year mark worthy of bing called 'vintage'). There is a small chip out of the paint work on the right 'leg' (see photos) I have always had gushing compliments about this guitar whenever I have used it because of the overall good condition. The case - Ragged round the edges on the outside and very worn condition, especially the handle (see photos) as is often the case with original Gibson Flying V cases. It is nearly 20 years old! The inside is plush however (see photos) and the case still does it's job perfectly of protecting the guitar. Bonus: 1- I will put brand new strings on her for you before collection. 2- Comes with 2 Schaller strap lock end pins fitted for use with a guitar strap with a strap lock on it. For sale is my Gibson Studio in the classic Ebony finish with gold hardware inc the classic Gibson USA Tan Case. Purchased this around 10 years ago off the original owner with the original receipt of sale dated to . He had only ever used it to learn on and I’ve only used it in the house hence its pretty much mint condition. There is slight tarnish on the gold hardware and a slight laquer mark on the rear of the guitar where the nitro has reacted to a stand prior to my purchase but its hard to see and does not affect the playability at all. Ebony Epiphone Les Paul Electric Guitar This is a ’s Epiphone made by Gibson Les Paul Guitar in a high gloss ebony finish. I bought this guitar second hand and its never been played by me outside of the house. It does have some signs of its age. The gold coloured hardware has worn on the pickups, bridge and the machine screws as you would expect from a guitar that is twenty-five plus year old instrument. There is some very minor buckle rash on the back of the guitar but no chips or dents in the finish. The body, neck and headstock are all bound and this has achieved a nice even yellowing with age. All in all it looks a beautiful vintage guitar. Electrically sound with no issues.
