Gibson SG X Guitar (ebony with ebony fretboard and upgraded pickup). £ fret ebony fretboard neck (the ebony fretboard versions are very rare, most had rosewood), Seymour Duncan Invader pickup. The guitar has a split switch that's currently disconnected so you can wire it back in to get single coil mode if that's what you like. Also comes with an extra black guard if you want to make it all black. Gibson SG Pewter. £500 Limited edition guitar. I still have the original silver guard and knobs (I changed them as it looked too silver for me). This guitar also has a beautiful ebony fingerboard. These late 90s early s Gibsons are the best quality of the modern Gibson output. No trades please I'm cutting down on gear (unless you're talking about vintage polysynths like the Juno etc). Gibson SG Standard Guitar - Black / Ebony Made in the USA Superb condition with the only blemishes being on the headstock Absolute rock machine, and it's 498T bridge and 490R neck pickups sound huge. Gibson Les Paul Studio (, Real Ebony Fretboard)

This is a Gibson Les Paul Studio that I have owned since new. Bought in August . Don't go comparing this guitar to the Studio that you saw in your local guitar exchange at the weekend. This is a different kettle of fish altogether and far higher quality. Solid mahogany, with a solid maple cap and a flawless ebony fingerboard. You can't even get real ebony on a new Les Paul Custom nowadays. This one, being almost a quarter of a century old, has some of the classic wear that is associated with Gibson Les Pauls. There is some sweet yellowing of the trapezoid inlays and a gorgeous lacquer checking that runs across the body. From a distance it doesn't really show, but up close and under light it creates this fantastic 'cracked mirror' effect. Importantly, none of the body checking has exposed wood, so you get all the cool looks without it appearing tatty up close. One tiny ding on the edge of the body that no-one will notice (I think it was there for months before I did). '60s neck profile. Chrome hardware all in excellent condition. Weighs just over 9lbs. Has had a recent pro setup, with full fret level and dress. Plays incredibly smoothly and sounds great. Comes with a Hiscox hard case. Trades are unlikely, but feel free to offer. Doug Wilkes Supreme 4 String Bass Guitar Macassar Ebony Fretboard

Doug Wilkes bass, recently got it in a trade. Great instrument, everything is really high quality. The electronics are a little bit too crazy for me thoughwith a 3 way switch, master volume, balance blend(?) and 2 band bass and treble EQ. I think the body is mahogany with maple neck and really nice Macassar ebony fretboard. Bridge and tuners are Shaller - the bridge is really cool, you can even adjust string spacing to your desired setting. The neck is a bit thicker than the standard jazz (1.7inch at the nut) but really comfortable and all the frets are really easily accessible. The body has some signs of wear, dings and bumps but nothing terrible. One of the previous owners has painted some of the chips, therefore - against the light you can see some paint in those places. The neck is almost perfect though (quite weird) with only one small imperfection at the back - hard to capture on the photo. I would prefer a sale but open to trade offers, as always.
