60's Vintage G Plan Fresco dining extendable table and 4 chairs. Table is teak veneered, tapered legs are solid teak. The top of the table slides apart to reveal fold out extension leaf. The table seats 4-6/8. It is in very good condition with only minor age/use related marks. 4 matching teak G Plan chairs with original black vinyl padded seats and backs are also in good condition. There are a few small rips in the vinyl. The foam is still firm and very comfortable though! The table and chairs have been refreshed and are ready to use. The frames have been fully restored (cleaned down, nourished, waxed and polished), and are in excellent condition. The extension mechanics are in good working order. Table dimensions are 88cm wide x 74cm high x cm. Chairs are upholstered in original material - two of the chairs need some minor repair work to the upholstery, again as shown in the pictures. Please note that the price is PER CHAIR The chairs are made from contrasting teak, with slightly lighter wood used for the slats that provide back support. These chairs cost a small fortune when they were first issued and are in excellent condition given their age with only minor signs of wear. Most still have their original G-plan stickers. The chairs feature a geometric orange fabric which give them a contemporary edge. Would look great in any mid-century, retro or vintage modern interior. If the chairs sell, I'll take this down. Vintage Mid Century G Plan Extending Dining Table & 4 Brown Seated Dining Chairs This set is vintage and has therefore seen a lot of use. Overall it is in good, clean condition with some sign of wear as to be expected. Structurally there is no major damage but the extenting mechanism is a little stiff. Cosmetically there is good finish in general to the chairs with only minor marks here and there. The table does have wear to the surface of the wood however it has been recently oiled overall. G-Plan 'fresco' Dining Table, This dining table was introduced to G-Plan's Fresco range in . This particular piece dates from between and , as indicated by the style of G-Plan badge which is still present on the underside of the extension. The table is a beautiful example for this period -We purchased the table for our home but alas it is too big !! We love the style but havn't the room - we have since gone for the G-plan Gate-Legged Table which has solved that one !! I have spent a little time polishing and there are remarkably few marks on the surface, which feels amazing to the touch - three small indentations on one half of the top (see photos) which is all - the legs are perfect - no scuffs or scratches whatsoever. Remarkable for its age, 30yrs plus. As you can see from the photos the centre panel has slight discolouration as expected.A stunning table in excellent condition - £, Pembroke, .
