An iconic piece of industrial furniture from the french postal system Postal sorting desk with pigeon holes. We salvaged this piece from a closing post office in rural France. We had 5 of these all salvaged from one post office and all lovingly restored by us. This is the last piece so don't miss out! They don't come up for sale often. It was produced in the mid 60s from steel. We have completely cleaned the piece and treated it with a mat graphite paste. It retains much of its beautiful original patina with the wear and tear expected on a piece of hardworking industrial furniture. Please do review all the pictures as they form part of the description. These look great in any modern interior and offer both a stylish and practical option. They also make fantastic retail display pieces. VINTAGE INDUSTRIAL SCHOOL DESK loft style

Amazing vintage school desk, with an industrial feel to it. Wooden desk with industrial metal legs. Ideal fit for a loft style interior. Made by Kingfisher Ltd, West Bromwich. Wood has been layered & layered up with varnish. Some graffiti as you would expect with any school desk! Metal legs are in pretty good condition, but would look AMAZING if sanded down & repainted. A matte black or rose gold would look perfect! Metal cover for the inkwells, however one inkwell is missing it's metal 'pot'. Measures approx 38cm deep, 91.5cm wide and 60.5cm tall.
