Vintage Mottisfont Rose National Trust Tea set Plus 6 salad plates
This is a very pretty tea set made by Rosina China for the National Trust. This fine white bone china has a spiral flute and the decoration is pink roses with green leaves, the edges are trimmed in the green of the leaves. The set includes six cups, six saucers, six tea plates, six salad plates a milk jug, sugar bowl and cake plate all in immaculate condition. The cups are about 3 ½ inches (9 cms) in diameter and 2 ¾ inches (7 cms) tall and the tea plates are 6 ¼ inches (16 cms) in diameter, the salad plates are 8¼ inches in diameter. The china was inspired by the collection of old roses in the Walled Kitchen Garden at Mottisfont Abbey, a former 12th Century Augustinian Priory near Romsey, Hampshire.
