Vintage 'Supertone' Alto Saxophone
A vintage 'Supertone' Alto Saxophone - a stencil saxophone made by 'Martin company U.S.A circa '. This has had a re-pad at some time with the Yamaha pads with brown plastic resonators, which aren't in bad condition, and the springs are all in good working order, (including the g sharp). The lacquer is very worn as you would expect on a saxophone of this age, but it has a nice patina where the bare brass shows. There are no dents of dings, or re-soldering of posts and guards as far as I can see. It comes with a pro-fibreglass case with shoulder strap made by Berkeley of London, and a Yamaha plastic mouthpiece with Berg Larsen ligature, and neck strap. See the Y Tube video 'Supertone' on adysaxman77 page for a demonstration of the sax being played. Price includes P&P. Read More
