This is vintage alto sax. On the bell said: BROVER(?) then Conservatory of Music_ Collingwood-- NJ with SN#: . I tried to clean on the front of bell so u can see it. The sax is very good condition with no ding or dent. Just has little crash on the bottom(see pictures) but no dent at all. I don't know the pads are still good? It may need to clean & replace some of them. Come with everything u see on pictures. The mouthpiece has no name. The case is still good. This one is very good vintage sax !!! I don't know who made this one?   It look like Buescher true tone alto saxophone? Take a look all pictures!! Want more pictures. Let me know!

Vintage 'Supertone' Alto Saxophone

A vintage 'Supertone' Alto Saxophone - a stencil saxophone made by 'Martin company U.S.A circa '. This has had a re-pad at some time with the Yamaha pads with brown plastic resonators, which aren't in bad condition, and the springs are all in good working order, (including the g sharp). The lacquer is very worn as you would expect on a saxophone of this age, but it has a nice patina where the bare brass shows. There are no dents of dings, or re-soldering of posts and guards as far as I can see. It comes with a pro-fibreglass case with shoulder strap made by Berkeley of London, and a Yamaha plastic mouthpiece with Berg Larsen ligature, and neck strap.   Vintage The Martin Alto Saxophone

Vintage, Silver coloured  The Martin alto saxophone. It will need re-padding, for best results as it is really old. Serial number is , and it's marked low pitch.  Engraved on it, is a rose as part of a personalisation attempt. The case is wooden and could be sanded down and lacquered, as the faux leather covering has peeled off in most places, but it still offers protection for the instrument and is solid. This is a professional grade instrument that requires someone who's ready to invest in it for keeps. It will be unsuitable for a learner.

Here's a vintage Selmer C* metal mouthpiece that has been through some pretty major reworking.  The previous owner decided to do some big time work here, and the results are honestly not very good.  I think this one will need the hand of an expert refacer in order to get it to sing. This saxophone is my baby, and has been used professionally for some years. It has been highly maintained and up till now, regularly played. The reference 54 is in a league of it's own and the tone and structure of the instrument is both elegant and beautiful. This saxophone would suit a professional / career player or student looking to study music. The 54 is a clear tip of the hat to when the MKVi was first produced and the look of the new instrument oozes class and character. The matt lacquer combines a modern look but with a vintage feel and the intricate hand engraving really delivers on an aesthetic level, but most importantly, the sound concept and intonation is spot on. My professional playing days are over and it needs someone who will love and appreciate it, like I have over the years. It has been serviced annually, last one February . This Reference 54 comes in a hard, Reference gig bag style case. The saxophone also comes with a metal mouthpiece. Alto Saxophone. C G Conn 'new wonder' vintage.

A beautiful vintage Conn 'New Wonder'alto sax with the original micro tune neck and rolled tone holes. Built in , serial No . Sad to see this one go but I really only play my tenor sax now. Last year it was fully serviced and given a full repad, new felt and corks and everything regulated and playing sweet. The body is a deep gold colour with some of the surface worn to the raw brass, I suspect at some point it possibly had a replate as the engraving is very faint. You can just see the C G Conn logo and made in Elkhart USA. All the key work has been silver plated fairly recently as it is in excellent condition(it was like this when I bought it however so not exactly sure when) A nice contrast with the dark vintage gold body. Definitely a unique horn and if you want something with that sweet fat tone which these horns have then worth a try! Comes complete with neck strap and Hiscox liteflite pro 2 case! Read More
