A unique one-off, gorgeous early ong>Victorianong> button back Chesterfield, love seat ong>sofaong>. Professionally reupholstered with Kobe Interior Design fabric, from the Masai Grijs Nomad Fabric Collection. An abstract pattern in shades of grey, charcoal and silver in a fabric made from a blong>endong> of linen. Not too fussy and perfectly on-trong>endong>, blong>endong>ing perfectly with other furniture and décor combinations be this in your home, office or retail shop. I couldn't resist the temptation to have it refurbished and give it a new home. It was looking tired and the fabric was worn, but the underlying frame was amazingly solid and the stuffing was in excellent condition. It underwent a long process of recovering and rebuttoning using over 10m of fabric to replicate the exact original shape and configuration. I have also left the legs as they were in original condition, which is very good, so there is the option to paint them or not. The ong>sofaong> is firm but comfortable and beautifully proportioned. Two/Three seater Drop Arm Sofa (Antique) in Thornton

I have a ong>twoong>/three ong>seaterong> ong>dropong>-arm ong>sofaong> which was (expensively) resprung a few years ago. Both arms can be lowered down - so that you can put your feet up either way. This dates from the 20's/30's and could do with some loose covers to brighten it up. The contruction inside is apparently oak with iron mechanisms - so it is VERY HEAVY!!! I paid £80 in auction quite some years ago for this, and a few hundred on re-springing. The right hand arm has recently been a bit loose - i.e. not staying upright - but I'm told that that's going to be a relatively easy job to fix. Reason for offering: I needed a larger ong>sofaong>, and I'm not going to let this go to the tip! Thus FREE to a good home. Collection from my home in Thornton.
