Victorian Stoneware flagon jug Glasgow wine merchant w/ original wicker basket

A beautiful and rather large (about 2 feet tall) Victorian stoneware flagon from James Murray & Sons Ltd, Wine Merchants Glasgow made by Grosvenor Eagle pottery (also of Glasgow) complete with the original wicker basket. A search of Scottish Post Office Directories shows this business as being active in the 's and through to the turn of the century. The flagon has a chip to the rim, the cork isn't original and the bottom of the wicker basket is falling out but none of these minor defects detract from the highly decorative qualities of this lovely piece of commercial heritage.
