A lovely Victorian fireplace which is from my house. The surround is painted slate and the insert and grate are cast iron. The surround is approx.: 51inches high and the slate mantle is approx.: 53inches wide. It comes with a slate back plate as seen in photos. There has been some repair to one side piece and also as seen in photo a little bit missing from back of other side piece but when against the wall you do not notice. This a gorgeous, modestly sized, slate and marble Victorian clock case, just waiting to be united with a suitable movement. It is approx 21cm wide, 13cm deep and 22 cm high. Diameter of apertures is approx 10cm. Small nick on edge of coloured marble, bottom left, but otherwise virtually nibble free. It would make a very pretty adornment to any mantlepiece. Collection only, from east Kent (minutes from eastern end of M2) as I would hate to see this damaged in transit.
