Hand made large chesterfield style scroll arm vintage style country house sofa,, This is a very well made hand built solid wood framed sofa, fully sprung support to the base and back, sound and sturdy, we love it but sadly it really is far too large for our small sitting room so very reluctantly it is being offered for sale.It is upholstered in a divine ethnic style fabric depicting elephants, flowers and trees in an elegant colourway of antique gold, taupe, old ochre and dusky terracotta. so very earthy colours.(I am not sure if it is velvet or chenille) it is a hardwearing fabric, lovely and soft to the skin and very comfortable to lounge out on.It has four bulbous turned wooded feet which do unscrew to enable it to go through smaller doorways.There are no holes or stains but please do remember that this is a used sofa so therefore not pristine brand new. we have no children/cats in our home and we are a smoke free home.We do have a small dog but she is forbidden (bless her) to lounge on the sofa, she has her own chair.The length of the sofa is approx. 230cm the depth from back to front is approx. 106cm the height including the legs is approx. 78cm (the legs stand approx. 12cm tall) and as I said do unscrew.The height to the seat is approx. 40cmThe back scatter cushion fillers are feather, the seat cushion fillers are not feather for a firmer seat. they are not foam but some other material.This sofa is heavy and will need strong people to move, we are able to assist at this end.
