Reluctant sale of a very attractive Victorian mahogany framed, button-backed chair due to down sizing. Upholstered in a light green material with attractive braiding, the chair is a compact design that fits easily into small spaces yet is of sturdy construction. This is a Victorian mahogany upholstered footstool which is 21 cm high and its top measures 32 cm x 30 cm. The top is an upholstered green fabric and is in very good condition. The wooden base is mahogany and there is attractive beading around its bottom. There is some slight damage to the wood around the base but it is not very serious. A very attractive late Victorian/Edwardian inlaid mahogany bureau / writing desk circa , in good condition. It is relatively small and lightweight, and would fit into a smallish space (for example, the corner of a sitting room or study, or entrance hall). The desk is inlaid with lighter woods, probably satinwood and boxwood. It has cabriole legs and drop handles. The writing surface folds down and is supported by two retractable arms. Small, versatile, button backed armchair

This a delightful, Victorian style armchair. It is upholstered in a pink and white, linen fabric 'Marwood' by Jane Churchill The chair is in excellent condition, and is very comfortable. It is a sturdy piece furniture - no creaks, groans or sagging!! The upholstery work was carried out by one of Northumberland's best upholstery firms, PEC of Amble. I have had the chair for about 10 years and it has graced every room in the house but mainly in the bedrooms. Downsizing means that I no longer have a use for it, and hope that someone else might enjoy it. The chair measures 80 cms in height, 70 cms front to back, 68cms wide.
