URGENT _ IN DANGER OF BEING PUT TO SLEEP - PEASE HELP - 2 Beautiful Staffies Need Long Term Foster

An urgent long-term foster home is needed for 2 beautiful staffies due to the owner being in temporary accommodation and not allowed to have them with her. Kylie is 12 and Sid is 11. Kylie only has 3 legs after a road traffic accident 6 years ago but this causes no problems to her mobility at all. Kylie and Sid are both lovely tempered dogs who love nothing better than to cuddle up on the sofa with people. They are very friendly and love each other very much. These dogs have never been separated and need to be homed together. Sid is very good with other dogs, Kylie is very nervous. They are cat chasers so are not suitable to live with cats. Any offers of homes will be thoroughly vetted. These dogs are much loved and cherished. Their owner is in a dreadful state about what will happen to her beloved pets. Could you offer two very sweet, characterful adult cats a loving long term home? Our situation - I relocated to Zambia about 6 weeks ago and had founded a lovely foster home where the cats seem very happy and settled. Unfortunately the lady who has them has is elderly and recently became quite ill so can no longer take care of them... I am currently in Zambia until December, but it is quite likely to be extended for another 2 years after that (work permit permitting). So I need to find them a long term home where they will be loved and looked after, and hope not to have to disrupt them again. My priority is making sure they are settled and happy. Here is some info about the cats... Matilda: very petite, pretty tabby girl. Quite self-contained but likes to curl up on a lap or the end of the bed. Loves to go outside and hunt for ‘presents’. No health issues. Charlie: tabby and white boy, a real character and also quite affectionate. Favourite things are eating and sleeping. Charlie does have diabetes which is helped with daily tablets (in his food - he doesn't notice them!) because we cannot give him insulin injections. The diabetes means that he eats and drinks a lot. At the moment he still has a good quality of life and seems quite happy in himself. I need to be honest about this as I appreciate that it’s not an easy thing for a new person to take on – however, as with his current home, I would like to remain in regular contact to see how they are both doing, and help make any decisions. I got them from a rescue home about 7 years ago when they were both full grown around 2 years old. They came as mother & son - I don’t know if this is true or not but they’ve always been together! Both of them are very social and like to be around people. They cannot be homed with dogs as a previous experiment was disastrous. They would suit somewhere they are the only ‘children’, ideally with a garden/fields for entertainment! URGENT HELP NEEDED - 2 Cats in need of a loving home

Due to no fault of their own and with a heavy heart, I am writing this advert in the hopes of finding emergency accommodation, a foster or anyone willing to give these two beautiful cats a loving home. I am writing this on behalf of my mother who lives in the Ramsgate area who is being evicted from her property tomorrow morning, she doesn't want to leave them behind but she cannot take them with her for obvious reasons. I have spent the past few weeks phoning every rescue center, big or small in the Kent area as she doesnt drive so cannot go further afield, but as expected every center is full to breaking point. The 2 cats in question are Elcie (the calico) and Sooty (black with white bow), they are both 4-5 years old and are both spayed/neutered. Elcie is a little girl with a quirky personality, she loves her chin scratched, cuddling up of a night time in front of the tv, and most of all she loves cuddling other animals, particularly dogs! Sooty is a big boy with a bigger personality, he is a cheeky little mister who loves to be by your side as often as he can, mostly when you are trying to get work done! I would love for these two to be homed together but they can also go separately providing they go to good homes. I am a Male 14 year old Galha Cockatoo. I’m a very handsome bird but I do have disabilities. I have a very gentle nature but I can lunge when over stimulated. I love lots of people giving me attention and get very excited when the doorbell rings. I love the ladies and the men too. And I don’t mind children. I will talk, whistle and jump up and down on my perch and I can be very very loud if you’re not giving me loves.. I give lots of kisses to my safe house mummy, and safe house daddy can stroke my head. Due to me demanding all the attention I don’t want other birds living with me. I have a wonky foot which makes me limp about but I’m still very much mobile. I’m not keen on being sat on my parronts arm as I wobble a lot and I get scared. I don’t like flying at my safe house but I used to fly at my old house. I have breathing difficulties sometimes. I have to have a house with lots of clean air with no contaminants. I.e no Teflon pans, vaping etc. I have a nebuliser which I have to have twice a day when my breathing becomes difficult..
