I am a Male 14 year old Galha Cockatoo. I’m a very handsome bird but I do have disabilities. I have a very gentle nature but I can lunge when over stimulated. I love lots of people giving me attention and get very excited when the doorbell rings. I love the ladies and the men too. And I don’t mind children. I will talk, whistle and jump up and down on my perch and I can be very very loud if you’re not giving me loves.. I give lots of kisses to my safe house mummy, and safe house daddy can stroke my head. Due to me demanding all the attention I don’t want other birds living with me. I have a wonky foot which makes me limp about but I’m still very much mobile. I’m not keen on being sat on my parronts arm as I wobble a lot and I get scared. I don’t like flying at my safe house but I used to fly at my old house. I have breathing difficulties sometimes. I have to have a house with lots of clean air with no contaminants. I.e no Teflon pans, vaping etc. I have a nebuliser which I have to have twice a day when my breathing becomes difficult.. I have a big cage and the door is always open because I don’t fly at the moment. I need platforms to sleep on because off my foot and I like a few toys. I enjoy my as30 seeds and soaking veg. Could you offer two very sweet, characterful adult cats a loving home? Our situation - I relocated to Zambia about 6 weeks ago and had found a lovely foster home where the cats seem very happy and settled. Unfortunately the lady who has them has just recently become quite ill so can no longer take care of them... I will be in Zambia until December. So I need to find them a loving temporary home until at least January. Here is some info about the cats... Matilda: very petite, pretty tabby girl. Affectionate and likes to curl up on a lap or the end of the bed. Loves to go outside and hunt for ‘presents’. No health issues. Charlie: tabby and white boy, a real character and also very affectionate. Favourite things are eating and sleeping. Charlie does have diabetes which is helped with medication twice a day in his food (he doesn't notice them!). The diabetes means that he eats and drinks a lot but he still has a good quality of life and is quite happy in himself. I got them from a rescue home about 7 years ago when they were both full grown around 2 years old. They came as mother & son - I don’t know if this is true or not but they’ve always been together! Both of them are very social and like to be around people. They cannot be homed with dogs as a previous experiment was disastrous. They would suit somewhere they are the only ‘children’, ideally with a secure garden so they can go outside. Kylie only has 3 legs after a road traffic accident 6 years ago but this causes no problems to her mobility at all. Kylie and Sid are both lovely tempered dogs who love nothing better than to cuddle up on the sofa with people. They are very friendly and love each other very much. Molly needs a foster carer or forever home in Leicester

Molly is an 8 year old lurcher, She came into Roxies rescue over 16 months ago. She was adopted and until February , she had to come back to the rescue. Molly was left for 11 hours a day by her owner. She was lonely and began to have separation anxiety. This lovely girl is fantastic with children, but with the lack of socialising her, she needs slow introduction to other dogs. She will play with her rope toys as well as a cuddly toy. ALICE NEEDS A ROTTIE EXPERIENCED HOME

ALICE IS CURRENTLY IN A REHOMING CENTRE IN SOUTH YORKSHIRE. Alice is a friendly, 7year old Rottie female. She iS, medium/large in size. Alice is finding kennels stressful and really dislikes going in her indoor kennel so she has started to jump up, mouthe, be quite vocal and grumbly with some staff when trying to put her to bed, otherwise she is very friendly and still full of beans. It's possible she has only lived outdoors and is worried about being put indoors, or maybe it is because she doesn't want to be alone, we just don't know but hopefully in the right home this would not be a problem. Kennels are not easy for most dogs, but some struggle more than others. Alice has never shown any other aggression and the sooner she gets a home the better. She is a typical Rottie and will guard her kennel - especially around other dogs and anyone who knows the breed will understand this as she is a guarding breed after all. She tries to stay clean in her indoor kennel and appears to know commands. It is unknown if Alice will be sociable with other dogs when out of the kennel environment as the kennels do not have the facility to test her. She will be better suited to an owner with Rottie experience, with lots of space and time to give her. No children under 15, purely because there is no background info on her. Read More
