Beautiful Very Large Unusual Shaped Canadian Made Wooden Child Friendly Trunk Chest Storage Chest Blanket Toy Box Great unusual shaped large and very heavy trunk that apparently was made in Canada. Has been used but very minimal wear and is in great condition. This trunk is very child friendly as the closed lid has gaps at the front and back so as not to trap little fingers also fitted with slow closing hinges and the whole trunk has no sharp edges. Painted in the original mid sheen blue with only minor scratches. The trunk lid handle will be removed when couriered. Very Large Mahogany Chest Of Draws - Antique Chest Of Draws - Vintage Chest Of Draws - Unusual

I have this very large antique chest of draws for sale. The chest of draws is a lot larger than the pictures show so please read the measurements. The chest is also very deep as shown in the measurements. This chest of draws is old and i believe it is aged before the 's. It is mahogany with a mahogany veneer. It has 3 large draws and 2 top smaller ones. It is very old but in good sturdy condition, this chest has another 100 years left in it. It does have some chips in the veneer as seen in the pictures. The top has some marks and scratches as seen in the pictures. The handles are all the original ones, a couple have the back part broken as seen in the pictures but they are all in good working order. Unusual chest with two deep drawers and black porcelain knobs (obviously can be changed) and bun feet. I believe the wood to be deal and it is solid wood. Lovely grain markings with a few age marks here and there but nothing that would spoil it. Dimensions are 32" wide, 26 high, 17.5" deep. Can of course be "shabby chiqued" (if there is such a word) I have listed it under antiques as I believe it to be Victorian.

The original oak veneer did not stand the test of time so it had to be sanded back and painted.
