Very unusual but very stunning hand-made chest.  I assume it was made for jewellery but it actually looks like a piece of furniture.  I don't know where or when it was made, but the style and the details if it and just beautiful.  Although I have searched, I have yet to find another one like it. Measurements are (inches): Height - 17 inches Width - 11.5 inches Depth - 6 inches

This is a pretty and solid trinket box in light wood, carved on lid and sides. It measures 8 by 4 inches, and is 2½ inches deep. Inside is lined with red felt, and the inside of the lid is mirrored, with braid edging. Also a braid to prevent the lid opening too far back. It has a small brass clasp, and good solid hinges.
